I had this on-tap in a pint glass.

Appearance- Cloudy golden color with a fingers wort of head that disappeared fairly quick. Light amount of lacing.

Smell- Subtle malt aroma with notes of grass and wheat.

Taste- Mildly bitter with a pleasant raspberry flavor.

Mouthfeel- Light bodied, dry, and crisp. Moderate amount of carbonation.

Overall- I have been to the High Noon Saloon several times and I usually have their Stampede Stout but I decided to try this one instead. I am glad I did. It was very refreshing and enjoyable. My wife took a sip and immediately ordered one for herself.

Wouldn't go out and get another... Decent smell and taste but I felt like as a raspberry wheat there should have been more of a focus on the fruit. Tasted like they added raspberry as an after thought. Quite bland. As my first review I am not sure if I provided much intensive thought or actual good information, but like my handle says... I am just the rookie in the beer game.

Poured from a bit above the glass gave this beer a small quick dying white head that leaves the thinnest of lacing above a cloudy washed out honey golden colored beer.

Artificially added raspberry aroma with some sourness to it.

The taste is exactly like the aroma would suggest, artificially added raspberry taste that seems a little wash out as well.

A very light dryness laced with raspberry aftertaste on this light bodied affair.

Not the worst raspberry wheat but not really worth seeking out either.

On a side note I tried a second one of these with about a half a cup of frozen raspberries in it and that seemed to be a really good raspberry wheat beer. Just food for thought, that made an average raspberry wheat into a pretty darn good one, lol.

From the CAN: "Brewed & [CAN]ned by High Noon Saloon & Brewery in Historic Leavenworth, Kansas"; "Quality Beer Brewed in Kansas"; "Wheat Beer with Oregon Raspberry Puree".

The Crack exhibited yet another craft CAN filled to the brim! I always feel like I am either getting my money's worth or more than I paid for when this happens. There was a brief rest period as I allowed everything to settle down before beginning the Glug. Man, was this a foamy beer! It looked like a glassful of pink cotton candy before it began to settle into something drinkable. "Legally Blonde, the Musical" is currently playing here in Lancaster county and with its emphasis on pink, this would be the beer to have at the show. The head was a light pink, the beer's color was a cloudy pinkish-amber, like pink grapefruit juice. Pink! The nose reminded me of my late paternal grandmother's red raspberry bush that used to yield some of the best berries in the summer and which she would make into preserves and pies. Mouthfeel was somewhat thin, but it was a raspberry wheat, after all, so some allowances should be made. The taste was red raspberry all the way and it was nice on a hot summer day. Finish was semi-dry, somewhat tart and definitely refreshing. This would be a good cooler CANdidate for the beach and especially as a mixer with some TenFidy, which is definitely going in MY cooler. Think pink. Wild, man!

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a light brownish color with pinkish hues and a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of raspberry, some wheat. Taste is tart, raspberry, a bi of grain, rather pleasant. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, while nothing spectacular, is an easy drinking and decent beer.

Hazy golden brown color with a very light raspberry aroma. The bitterness throughout the brew is more aggressive than many fruit beers. The malt profile is quite dry with the raspberry coming through in the dryness as opposed to the candy-like quality of many of its peers.
