A:Poured a big amber color withg ood carbonation and a nice white cap
S: Caramel, some pine and bitterness
T: Pine, light hints at fruits, some caramel.
M: A balanced, well carbonated, medium body IIPA. Plenty of taste and bitterness, a tad slick and bit oily
O: Good IIPA, Simcoe shines and to much of a good thing is not always good, especially when it comes to Simcoe.

On-tap at Belmont Station in Portland, OR.
appearance - poured a typical IPA amber, some retention and lacing
smell - resinous and earthy hops, big malts
taste - the hops are hidden within the malts, not what I expected or hoped for, some earthy notes and resin, but more so a big malt body
mouthfeel - well carbonated, full bodied
drinkability - just doesn't showcase the Simcoe hop character like it should which is a very bold and resinous hop when done right
