Notes:
Dark brown in color, this American Brown has roasted caramel aromas. It has flavors of nut, caramel, and roasted malt. It finishes on a dry notes. Quite delicious for malty beer lovers.

On-tap at Winter Solstice. Served in a 5oz taster glass.

A - Transparent cherrywood dark brown body. Finger of lightly tan foam settles to a near-complete cap, thick collar, and plenty of splotchy lacework.

S - Pretty typical brown ale aromas, with nuts, light cocoa powder, dry roast malts, bread, and a touch of sugar.

T - Nutty, roasty, dry, with fairly low sweetness. Well-attenuated, with well-hidden alcohol, and a crisp, clean, finish.

M - Smooth medium body, lower carbonation, chewy texture, and a dry finish. Again, quite crisp and surprisingly refreshing for the style. I'm kind of surprised this was 6.8% ABV.

D - If you like nut brown ales, this is a really good one. That being said, it's a style that doesn't really lend itself to stepping outside the standard flavor profile.
