Notes:
This is our 4th Dementia Olde Ale that has been bourbon barrel aged. This ale has an intense sweet caramel malt flavor and aroma that develops into a toffee/toasted marsh mellow like character.

This beer has all the wonderful qualities of Fourth Dementia, but the booze isn't well balanced; it overtakes the beer.

Many times bourbon barrels add a great richness to the beer, but I prefer the original. Still a great beer, and I'd reach for this before many others. But I'll take the original over the bba each time.

I am not going to get all clinical and serious about this beer.
The fact that it tastes so much like soy sauce can simply not be hidden away by its great colour and aroma.
Sorry but this should be used for cooking and not drinking. Clearly this is just my opinion as it sits at number 20 of the most popular beer list.
