Dark coffee brown color, almost opaque, with a nice tan head that sticks around well and produces some nice lacing all the way down.
The aroma is dark, slightly fruity, roasted malt, coffee, caramel and hints of dark chocolate.
The taste starts with sweet roasted malts, caramel, a definite note of plums or apples, followed quickly by mild coffee and chocolate. The finish is dry with a touch of coffee, dark toast bitterness and floral hops.
Medium bodied, fairly smooth but with a bit more carbonation and texture than the normal Guinness. Very drinkable.

A- Pours dark brown, leads to black in the glass with a slightly off-white bubbly head.
S- Hint of roasty malts and bready malts. Slight bitterness in the aroma too.
T- Similar to classic Guinness, with a little more maltiness in the body.
M- More of a standard stout feel than compared to the nitro Guinness. This one is slightly oxidized, which is to be expected based on the age, but my notes from years ago indicate medium body.
O- Clearly this one is passed it's prime, but drinking it again, along with my notes from before concur that this was a pretty good beer and an improvement on standard Guinness.
