Notes:
Liquid Sunshine is a Bavarian style Hefewiezen. This beer has the traditional clove aroma with a touch of lemon peel, but there are no spices added. The unique flavor comes from a traditional yeast selection which has been used in Germany for centuries.

Got a growler at the brewery on 7/1, which happened to be the day of the release, and took it with us to have after hiking in Baxter State park.

This beer poured a cloudy pale yellow with a creamy long-lasting white head. The aroma was of banana and cloves, as you would expect, but leaning more toward subtle cloves and nice pilsner and wheat malt. The taste matched the aroma...the fruitiness (banana/clove) was there but not overpowering, providing a nice balance for a hefe.

Overall, a super easy drinking beer that could not have gone over better after spending about 8 hours hiking.

Plus, it was a fun brewery to stop at and the brewer, Tim, was great to visit with.
