A. Large tan head that dissipates into a thin foam. Dark thick burgundy colored. Fairly Opaque

M. Sweet, slightly fruity. There is a very "Belgium" smell to it. I'd say it's the mix of the yeast and I'm assuming wheat? Almost has and apple cider smell.

T. Once again I'm getting apple cider. Belgium yeast/wheat flavor. Very watery tasting. A bit of a spicy flavor as well.

M. Light thin texture with some light bubbles

D. There is a mix of the odd carbonation and some alcohol flavor here that is a bit off putting. It's got the body of a light beer so clearly one could chug it. I certainly am not being drawn in by this one so.

Overall it's drinkable but barely. It's also really expensive, not recommended.

Beer pours a very cloudy medium brown color with a very strong head that fills the upper finger of m Rochefort tasting glass. Bubbles surge to the top of the glass keeping the head creamy and somewhat rocky.

The aroma is very complex. Malt, alcohol, slight rum like aroma, hard to single out what all is making up the aromatics and what is coming from yeast, ingredients, or maybe spices.

The first thing that hits you is a caramel like sweetness followed by flavors of toast and biscuit. Finish is a little milk chocolate like with a very subtle hint of orange. There is some alcohol on the palate. As the beer warm I can start to taste raisin, rum, burnt sugar.

Mouthfeel is creamy, the head on the beer really helps with that along with the giant rim on the glass. Little bubbles tickle you tongue as you drink.

This is an excellent beer, the appearance is probably the low point just because it is so murky, not to mention the yeast on the bottom came right off and most of it ended up in the glass. The biscuit and bread go well with the raisin and rum that start to show as the beer warms.

A: Hazy brow color with a big head which quickly dissipates
S: Nutty and frutty, somewhat spicy, bread is there too
T: Malty and frutty again, a bit bit sour, bread in the aftertaste, almost no bitterness
M: Watery mouthfeel, good carbonation level
O: Pleasant beer, no more no less
