Black or so brown I just can't tell. Ruby highlights along the bottom. Huge dense medium tan head. Terrific lacing covers ninety percent of he glass.

Dark roast coffee and rich chocolate aroma.

While coffee begins the aroma, on the tongue chocolate strikes first, like thick Hershey's syrup. Coffee rises up at he swallow.

Thick rich and chewy.

A superior porter. Well worth a try, if too expensive for the regular rotation.

Teku glass. Bottled 12/30/12.

A: Pours black--coffee brown around the edges, with a finger and a half of dense and very persistent tan head. The head recedes to a thick and sloppy ring with some streaks and dots of lacing.

S: Medium roast coffee on top of roasted malt, a touch of vanilla and chocolate.

T: Roast is balanced nicely with coffee and a hint of dark chocolate. Finishing dry with a long coffee finish.

M: Slightly grainy. Medium-light body and medium, lively carbonation.

O: A very well crafted porter, hitting a very good balance.
