Poured from 12oz can into a pint glass.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a strong effervescence. There are plenty of little chunks floating around in there, adding mystique. Head poured a dramatic three-plus fingers of frothy ivory foam. I think it's great!

Smell: grapefruity and tangeriney hops over a malt base that is sweet but has a hint of graininess. There's also a light character of green grass which I like a lot. Quite enticing.

Taste: lightly sweet and fruity, with that great tangeriney character over the slightly grainy malt. This can be a dicey combination, but I really think Fremont have pulled it off here; the taste is balanced and satisfying. Also, a good level of flavor for a rather sessionable ABV.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a high level of carbonation that explodes into a big, if lightweight, creaminess. I rather like it.

Overall: this is a tasty, session-strength and incredibly drinkable pale ale. They've got the balance right on for a beer like this. Love it.

Hazy, golden yellow with plenty of sediment floating around. Huge, fluffy, pillowy, bright white head. Plenty of lacing and decent head retention. Huge, pungent, piney, resiny hops. So sticky and dank. Taste is the same. Massive flavor and so clean. Screams West Coast. And its organic?! Hell yes. Proper carbonation for the style yet so smooth. Amazing session beer. I'd drink a few a day if I lived in the PNW. A seriously delicious beer. Wow. I need more beer from Fremont.

Big thanks to Arbitrator for the can.

Appearance: Very slight chill haze on a dark gold color. Head is small, bright-white, with a tight bubble structure. Moderate to high carbonation on the pour. Inconsistent splotches of lacing.

Smell: Tropical mango and pineapple. Nice burst of oily pine on the back. Light-pale malt sweetness. Loaded with Citra. A bit of lingering bitterness. Clean and bright. So much mango and peach. Almost like a gummi bear. Some lemon as well.

Taste: Uh, mega tropical. Peach flesh with a solid mango backing. Some pineapple and lemon zest. Slight oily bitter pine in the back. Malts stay light, slightly bready and sweet, but never go over the top. Very balanced. Slight gritty earthiness as it warms. Some light cracker notes.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light body with a moderate carbonation. A bit dry on the finish but the Citra gives the illusion of juiciness up front. Lingering bitterness.

Overall: Can some magic Disney.

A straight up super sessionable pale ale that never crosses in to IPA territory. The blend of Citra and Simcoe never fails, but putting it with a light drinkable pale ale in a can is smart.
