Served in straight pint glass. Poured a very slightly hazy golden yellow color with about 1/4 inch of bright white head that had very good retention and lacing.
There was a citrusy hop blast in the front of the nose that gave way to some very nice earthy grains. The flavors followed the same path, citrus hops up front, good grains in the middle, a bit of malt sweetness at the back and just a touch of pine hops lingering on the finish.
The body was just a bit on the thin side, but otherwise was fairly typical for an IPA. Drinkability was good, you easily drink these all afternoon (and with a low ABV, you could drink them ALL afternoon). Overall, a very nice brew that's worth a shot if you see it. It'll be a good choice during our PNW summer.

A: Poured a transparent lighter orange-honey color which leaves a nice white soapy cap, some good lacing present
S: A little bit of caramel, grains, citrus and dash of honey
T: Some honey upfront with caramel, herbal and Earthy notes, citrus hops provide a nice change of pace with some grains and lingering, moderate, dry like bitterness and sweetness on the finish.
M: Light- medium body, with medium carbonation. The honey and caramel made it feel a little heavy for a Session IPA.
O: Not a bad session IPA but it was alittle sweet, a little heavy, to me it had the body and feel of a IPA. Was not a fan of the honey and the moderate, dry, lingering hop bitterness which I am guessing was from the Chinook.

Chill 22oz bottle served in pint glass. Beer is a super pale straw yellow color, almost crystal clear, with a thick white foam. Big bubbles. HUGE green hop aroma. Very fresh smelling. First sip is sharp with unrefined hop bitterness. Citrusy and piney. Not overpowering on the IBUs (update: label says 60), but doesn't hold back on those that are there. Grain bill is pretty non-descript, just barely enough to bring the beer through. I'm surprised this is only 4% though. Definitely easy to drink if not quite as "sessionable" due to palate burnout typical of any American IPA. Very resiny and lacey, BTW.

Thanks to Paul for grabbing this one.
A: Pours a clear orange color with a one finger white head on top, rather soapy, with great retention. Thin lacing forms down the sides randomly.
S: A nice burst of orange right up front, a bit of rind as well. Some grainy malt and faint caramel mixed in.
T: Similar to the aroma with some citrus upfront, again mostly orange, with some grainy malt mixed in. Light sweetness on the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Rather easy drinking.
O: A nice IPA, props to Fremont for making it 4% and officially a session beer. Glad it is available in cans, will be an easy go to beer to keep on hand.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a light orange, decent head and some nice lacing on the glass.
Smell: Very promising smell of citrus and pine. Some sweet malts as well.
Taste: Much more subtle than the smell. Slight hoppy bitterness balanced very well with the malt backbone. Not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: It is pretty thin and watery, little carbonation.
Overall: Very easy to drink at 4%, no heat at all. The taste doesn't live up to the aroma. If you are looking for a hoppy west coast ipa skip this one. If you are looking for a decent, easily drinkable ipa this is your beer.

I have had this one a couple of times, but I guess I missed a review, so here we go.
A - Pours a lighter, clear orange with a large, near white head that slowly fades leaving spots of lacing on the glass.
S - Very hoppy and nice. Floral, pine, citrus - strong oranges.
T - More mild here. Lemons, pine, and slight orange.
D - A thin body with good carbonation.
O - This one smells amazing, but the taste doesn't quite keep up with it. Still a very solid IPA

Thanks to HeyCurly3 for this one! Poured into Stone IPA stemware.
A - yellow-ish, light golden color with thin white head that faded to a bubbling ring; some spotty lacing
S - fresh green hops, grass, floral note(maybe wisteria), some bready malt toward end
T - somewhat dry and mildly bitter hops followed by bisquit, toast, bread malts
M - thin body; light carbonation; long, dry finish that is slightly coating
O - a little thin but it is supposed to be a session beer; overall profile tastes like a dry-hopped pilsner; nice bread-y finish; it is very drinkable indeed

Poured from 22oz bomber into a pint glass.
Appearance: light golden hue with a touch of haze and a very light effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy off-white foam. Not too bad.
Smell: nicely pleasing citrusy, earthy hop aroma. A very light malt comes through as well. Not particularly high-volume, but quite good considering what they are going for here.
Taste: malt is quite biscuity and bready in character; the hop flavors are much less emphasized than in the aroma. Bitterness is a bit rasping but is definitely there. Not too bad.
Mouthfeel: pretty light and watery, unfortunately. There's also not much in the way of carbonation to enliven it.
Overall: the execution of this beer is not so great, but I love the concept of an easily sessionable IPA. If they could bring the aroma they've achieved into the flavor and bulk up the body a little bit, this could be a great beer. Still, points for the fact that this is indeed a nicely sessionable, if not outstanding, IPA.

Pale orange color, fairly bright but with a few coarse "floaties" swimming about. Beautiful rocky off-white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing.
A light but inviting aroma of spicy hops. No discernible malt on the nose. The flavor is also hop-centric with tangy spicy and citrus hops on a very light frame. Somewhat one dimensional with even less malt than some of the super-hopped APAs like Daisy Cutter or Edward.
Tasty and easy to drink, but drinks more like a hoppy light lager than an IPA.

Growler filled at the brewery. Poured into straight pint glasses on January 28th, 2012.
A: The beer pours an extremely light yellow color. Super clear and reminiscent of the "fizzy yellow beers" that we are so quick to dismiss. There was a small head of white foam that dissipated quickly. Little to no lacing present.
S: Not a lot going on in the nose. A bit of malt, honey and caramel and just faintest touch of hops.
T: There are some grainy flavors alongside banana Laffy Taffy and a soapy flavor that I'm assuming are the hops. No real bitterness to this brew.
M: Medium carbonation and body, pretty light but slightly oily. Very reminiscent of American adjuncts. You'd never guess there was alcohol in this.
O: I get what Fremont is doing here. As a tribute to Olympia and Rainier from the good ol' days, this is a nice beer for a hot summer day. As a session IPA, however, it's a bit of a failure. I know that Session IPAs are the new hotness, but Fremont should think about re-styling this guy.

Poured into a Black Raven imperial pint glass. Pours a light golden straw color. Thin but persistant head, and a thick ring around the glass with a hint of lacing. Mild aroma of herbal hops, a hint of pineapple and sweet malt. Initial flavor is mild hops, but other flavors develop in the middle; biscuit malt a hint of fruit and walnuts. Finishes with a nice fresh hop kick, but the finish is a bit stark and left me wishing for a bit more malt body to support the hops. Light to medium bodied. Somewhat thin and mild flavored for an American IPA (except for the hops, which are nicely assertive), but I have to admit that this is the best flavored 4% beer I think I have ever tasted. From that standpoint, an excellently made, enjoyable light IPA.

22oz bomber, split, paired with some thai take-out
appearance: served in a shaker pint, pale straw-golden body, 1/3" foamy white head, light lace
smell: grassy hops, pilsner malt, honey
taste: I like the idea here - a 4% IPA in a market full of 7% IPA's. There's more bitterness than anticipated - crisp and hoppy, a touch of honey, dry bread, nice biscuity malt. Nice stuff - would like to see it in cans once Fremont gets that up and running.
mouthfeel: light, moderate bitterness
overall: maybe the best 4% IPA on the market, probably the only.

22oz bottle poured into a large mug
Pours clear straw golden with small white head and little active carbonation. Smell is quite nice, very fruity and floral with lots of pine. Even with my cold.
Taste is not as bright as I had hoped from the smell. A little muted fruit, a little mild bitterness, actually slightly watery. Not bad, just not very loud.
Mouthfeel is very light and thin. Overall, totally sessionable beer. Not the oomph I would like from an IPA, but not displeasing in the least.

22oz bottle into a tulip. Pours a clear coppery golden color w/ a frothy whie head.
Aroma is light floral and citrusy hops, some piney & grassy notes. Subtle.
Taste is biscuity pilsner malt and clean water, balanced by hops. Nice light crisp mouthfeel.
I'm not sure which side of the APA/IPA divide this falls on. It's very light, drinkable, and refreshing, but has a crisp hoppy bite on the finish.
Get this into canned 6-packs in time for summer, Fremont! Well done.

22oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A: Very light straw yellow with amazing clarity. A half finger bright white head that fades fast but leaves an alright lacing.
S: Very light aroma. Malty honey and caramel with a light touch of floral hops.
T: Toffee and nutty upfront with a touch of grain. Some very light soapy and floral hops. Finishes with the toffee and nuttiness. Good for a "Session IPA"
M: Medium light body. Medium carbonation. Slick and a touch oily.
O: It's a good beer if you consider light alcohol "session IPA". Compared to other IPA's the bitterness is not to be found. But it is good.
