A: Poured a transparent lighter orange-honey color which leaves a nice white soapy cap, some good lacing present

S: A little bit of caramel, grains, citrus and dash of honey

T: Some honey upfront with caramel, herbal and Earthy notes, citrus hops provide a nice change of pace with some grains and lingering, moderate, dry like bitterness and sweetness on the finish.

M: Light- medium body, with medium carbonation. The honey and caramel made it feel a little heavy for a Session IPA.

O: Not a bad session IPA but it was alittle sweet, a little heavy, to me it had the body and feel of a IPA. Was not a fan of the honey and the moderate, dry, lingering hop bitterness which I am guessing was from the Chinook.

Chill 22oz bottle served in pint glass. Beer is a super pale straw yellow color, almost crystal clear, with a thick white foam. Big bubbles. HUGE green hop aroma. Very fresh smelling. First sip is sharp with unrefined hop bitterness. Citrusy and piney. Not overpowering on the IBUs (update: label says 60), but doesn't hold back on those that are there. Grain bill is pretty non-descript, just barely enough to bring the beer through. I'm surprised this is only 4% though. Definitely easy to drink if not quite as "sessionable" due to palate burnout typical of any American IPA. Very resiny and lacey, BTW.

Thanks to Paul for grabbing this one.

A: Pours a clear orange color with a one finger white head on top, rather soapy, with great retention. Thin lacing forms down the sides randomly.

S: A nice burst of orange right up front, a bit of rind as well. Some grainy malt and faint caramel mixed in.

T: Similar to the aroma with some citrus upfront, again mostly orange, with some grainy malt mixed in. Light sweetness on the finish.

M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Rather easy drinking.

O: A nice IPA, props to Fremont for making it 4% and officially a session beer. Glad it is available in cans, will be an easy go to beer to keep on hand.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a very slightly hazy golden yellow color with about 1/4 inch of bright white head that had very good retention and lacing.

There was a citrusy hop blast in the front of the nose that gave way to some very nice earthy grains. The flavors followed the same path, citrus hops up front, good grains in the middle, a bit of malt sweetness at the back and just a touch of pine hops lingering on the finish.

The body was just a bit on the thin side, but otherwise was fairly typical for an IPA. Drinkability was good, you easily drink these all afternoon (and with a low ABV, you could drink them ALL afternoon). Overall, a very nice brew that's worth a shot if you see it. It'll be a good choice during our PNW summer.
