Had on tap at Fremont, review from notes.
A: Pours a dark brown with a tan head on top, made up of small bubbles. Decent retention, leaving a thin cap on top. Sporadic lacing.
S: Nice roasted malt up front with a good bit of chocolate in the middle - dark and some milk. Faint coffee and herbal hop aromas.
T: More chocolate mixed with a bit of flaky oats, blended together very nicely. There is a bit of sweetness and cream.
M: Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation.
O: A nice imperial stout, pretty easy drinking with a nice flavor profile.

First trip to Freemont. Glad to back in WA.
Served in a Goblet.
A - Served a very dark brown with a medium brown head that fades very quickly leaving minimal lacing on the glass.
S - Very chocolately and oats.
T - Similar to the smell, chocolates and the oats definetly come through.
D - Thinner than expected and more carbonated than most stouts.
O - Very tasty, but a bit thin and average.

A: Poured black with good carbonation and a small white cap
S: Nose was pretty tame. Good sweetness but it was tough to get some smell off of this even after burying my nose in it.
T: Taste has lighter oats that I expected. The oats I thought played a quiter role. I got some cola notes, oats cam in medium to the end, some sweetness, booze sting, chocolate.
M: Medium/Big body, sweet, booze feel is very striking, not overpowering just right I thought for an Imperial.
O: Pretty good.

I listed this as rotating, but it may become seasonal depending on feedback. This is from the first batch and the keg is (admittedly, by the brewer) somewhat undercarbonated, keep that in mind while reading.
Served in straight pint glass. Poured a solid black, with just a trace of reddish translucence at the edges, and had just a very thin cap of tan head with low retention and lacing.
The aroma is solidly rich malts with a very nice roast component. There are just enough hops in the background to be noticeable. On the tongue the roast flavors play a bigger role, without dominating the grain and had just a tickle of hops on the finish.
The body was good and solid without being heavy or overly filling. Drinkability is very good, I rarely have more than 1 big stout at a time but easily see having several of these while watch the winter rains here in the PNW.
Overall, another solid brew from one of Seattle's rising stars. Worth seeking out.
