Had on tap at Fremont. Review from notes.
A: Pours a clear golden color with a small white head with minimal lacing.
S: Got quite a bit of apple on upfront mixed with some belgian yeast and some clove and coriander.
T: More apple mixed with yeasty spice along with more clove, coriander, and a bit of pepper. Faint grainy/bready malt as well.
M: Light to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation.
O: Interesting to have a saison has your fall/harvest beer, but I liked it.

Pours clear gold with a small white head and solid spotty lacing.
Smells a little citrusy with too much peppercorn and Belgian yeast strain. Pepper and corriander overpower.
A little bit fruity up front. Devolves into a big Belgian yeast character. Big peppercorn and clove finish. Not much else.
Light bodied with medium carbonation. Finishes dry.
Very mediocre and not very enjoyable. Not complex at all and whatever yeast used overpowers anything good in this beer. Very disappointed as everything I've had from Fremont before has been good.

22oz bottle purchased at Huckleberry’s in Spokane for $3.99. No obvious freshness date is on the bottle.
Pours a clear, slightly dark golden color, with a good-sized, sudsy white head. Lots of lace.
Dryly fruity and spicy in the nose, though the label states this beers is “unfettered” by spices. Seems like a Belgian yeast was used.
Mildly fruity and spicy in the flavor as well, with the taste of apricots and crisp apples standing out the most. Things end on a ciderish dry note.
Medium bodied, with a rather dry mouthfeel. Finishes very clean, almost like a lager.
An interesting tasting beer. Seems like a mild take on the saison style. Relatively easy to drink if you don’t mind it’s dryness, which might be off-putting to some

My third saison in a can (Surly, NEB, and this)
A: Light orange with huge head that lasts. Lots of lacing.
S: Peppery, yeast, slight sweetness detected, clove and banana
T: Clove, banana, yeasty, spice, citrus, wheat-y, a tad bit too sweet, finishes slightly bitter.
M: Dry, medium carbonation.
O: It's a decent saison. Nothing special, but quite pleasant.

A Saison as a Harvest Beer? OK, whatevs. Served in straight pint glass. Poured a bright, crisp, clean, clear yellow with just under an inch of bright white head that had good retention and very light lacing.
The aroma featured a nice mix of grain, spice and yeast, I guess this is a Saison. The flavors were pretty much what you'd expect from a the style, yeasty spice, earthy grains, and enough flavor interaction to keep things interesting throughout the glass.
The body was the typical light-medium of the style. Drinkability was wonderful, as I generally find Saisons to be. Overall, a very nice brew. Not the typical "Fall" style, either a Fest-Marzen, or a thicker malt carpet, a nice change-up. A must try if you see it and probably worth some effort to try.

22oz into a tulip. Last year I wasn't so wild about this, let's see how I like it this time around.
Pours a clear golden color w/ a frothy white head, good webby lacing, lazy carb.
Aroma is floral, almost perfumy. Delicate, flowery. Belgian yeast and some spice notes. Soft fuzzy apricots. Just a hint of damp basement.
Taste, likewise, is floral and hoppy w/ a perfumy, rose petal aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is clean, medium-bodied, dry. Light hop bitterness gives it a crisp bite.
Overall an OK beer but not a favorite in the saison style. Not even sure this is a saison, I think it might be better classified as a Belgian pale.

Poured into a Gouyasse tulip glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a half finger off-white head with good retention and great lacing. Aroma of apple and stone fruit juice, saison yeast and a hint of citrus. Flavor starts with the same sweet apple and stone fruit flavors and develops into drier, spicier saison yeast and spicy hops with a hint of bisquit malt. Finishes semi-dry and spicy with hints of the fruit juices. I like saison style ales with more fruit and malt and less intense wild yeast flavors, so this one hit the spot for me. Fairly complex flavor. Light bodied, but active carbonation contributes to a nice mouth fell. Another interesting and satisfying beer from Fremont.

22oz bottle split into two pint glasses
Pours cloudy (because I chose to pour in the sediment) golden with a medium head that is very light beige. Smell is light and fruity, slightly sour, some hay.
Taste is moderately sweet and light and fruity. Very light and refreshing, especially on a nice sunny day.
Mouthfeel is light. Overall, this is a pretty pleasant beer.

22oz bomber poured into a pint glass. Notes from November 10th, 2011.
A: The beer pours a straw yellow color with a thin head of white foam with nice light lacing.
S: Harvest has a pungent aroma of funky barnyard yeast with a bit of lemon and sweet stone fruits such as peaches and pears.
T: Peppery, yeasty saison with a light citrus profile. Lots of tangy funk present here.
M: The beer starts off oily, but finishes off with a very dry body.
O: Pretty average American attempt at a saison. Nice to see Fremont continue to try new things.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter.
A: Light straw in color. Medium haze. Half finger white head with less than good retention but good lacing.
S: Light aroma on this. Yeasty. Cloves. Apricots.
T: Great Belgian yeast flavors. Cloves. Apricots. Light wine qualities. Slight apple.
M: Light bodied, but not watery. Medium carbonation. Very crisp. Very dry finish.
O: Very good Saison. I always enjoy Fremont’s beers. Would definitely recommend this one.

Served in a Mikasa tulip.
Pours a slightly-hazy golden-apricot color with a two-finger white head and some pretty sticky lacing on the way down. Nice collar throughout. The nose is full of wheat and some phenols; there's a bit of pepper and some light fruit. The flavor is full of wheat and pepper plus some pear and other fruits. A bit of a cidery character as well. A bit heavy on the pepper and phenols. Medium body with a dry finish. Good carbonation. Pretty good, but not something I'd likely go back to.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip.
Appearance: golden yellow hue with a touch of haze. Head is two thick fingers of frothy ivory foam -- nice.
Smell: very nice and smooth saison aroma. Bready with a touch of spiciness, there's almost a sweet nutmeg aroma to it. Very inviting and autumnal.
Taste: sweet right off the bat with a hint of citrus and a hint of spiciness (grains of paradise come to mind). Sweeter than many saisons I've had, I find that in this case it works really well. Very well-composed and tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty big blast of carbonation. The feel is a little rough to call "creamy", but it works well nonetheless. I like it.
Overall: this is a very competent and well-made saison. I'm proud to be from the Seattle area when local breweries churn out workaday beers which are this good.
