A big thanks to sukwonee for this beer great extra. Cheers!
Enjoyed after a very, very long day of packing and getting ready to move into DT Chicago.
Appearance – Pours a slight amber color into a tulip with about two fingers of slightly off white fluffy head that dissipates at a moderate pace leaving nice chunky lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – Lots of lemon zest, grapefruit, slight tropical fruit, hops, caramel and toffee at the end.
Taste – A nice floral and earthy hoppy flavor up front that almost immediately fades to a sweeter, juicy fruits such as tart grapefruit and lemon. Finishes with some caramel malt flavors.
Mouthfeel – Medium to lower bodied, plenty of carbonation, extremely quaffable.
Overall – A very clean, and enjoyable pale ale. Fantastic right now, and extremely refreshing after loading a moving truck in 95 degree heat and humidity. Would buy this often if I had it available.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a huge head, bubbles foamed out of the bottle until the liquid was halfway down
Smell: Lemony, with other tropical fruit tones; biscuity malts underneath
Taste: A bit of biscuity malt, and then a fair amount of lemon and other tropical fruit flavor
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with rather high carbonation
Overall: I forgot I had this bottle and have clearly waited too long to give it a shot; probably makes a very nice, hoppy summer beverage when fresh so I have been generous with my scores at this stage

Poured from a bottle into a glass. Good ole fashioned APA. Probably going to crush one too many of these this Summer. One of those beers that takes about four drinks to get through a 22oz. Smooth, easy pale action straight to the face. Diggin' the subtle, sweet malt character with just that, "Hey, what's up?" of hops. Thanks Fremont Brewing!

This beer was a "throw-in" on my huge order with the good people at Malt and Vine. No doubt they were trying to clear out summer beers, but that would not stop me from enjoying it. The beer poured golden yellow color with a generous white head. It showed a certain degree of lacing in the glass with noted retention. In the aroma, one gets hoppy grapefruit notes. Obviously, this is a summer ale because of the fruity hop notes. Rather than a sweet fruity hoppiness, this one targets more tart citrus fruits in the hops. In the initial taste, one gets mild lemon, tart grapefruit, and a noted grassiness. This was a very bubbly beer, so the taste gets brushed away too quickly. The fruit notes fade quickly in the aftertaste, morphing into a grassy aftertaste. Overall an above average APA, though it did not exactly knock my socks off.

Thanks to bfg75 & pwnzilla for sending me bombers as extras a week or so apart. Since it's supposed to be 49 degrees tonight, I guess it's time to finish off the summer beers, eh? 22 oz. bomber split with my wife.
Pops open & there's a yeast ring around the neck - odd, it's been upright for at least two weeks, must be sticky stuff. Pour is bright yellow, clear, left the last ounce in the bottle. Smell is pleasantly floral hops & bright citrus. Very nice.
Fremont Summer Ale is like perfume that smells great until it gets your allergies kick started & your nose starts to run. Or maybe that's just fall for me. That excellent nose morphs into a rather muddled pale. Light sweetness from the malts, lemony, bit of spice, citrus, ending up with a pretty good hop bite. Grows on me as the liquid level drops & it warms a bit. Drinkable.
Well-named beer. They could have gone Lawnmower, Patio, Cabin, but Summer works. Light, easy to sip, simple. Good, solid brew.

Appearance: Clear and light yellow. Thin head that laced all the way down the glass.
Smell: faint orange or tangerine. Little to no malt aromas.
Taste: medium-light malt profile. Light fruit hop flavoring and piney bittering.
Mouthfeel: medium carbonated. Dry. Medium to light body. Think Candice Swanapoel.
Overall: good Pale ale. Easy to drink. Not over the top on malt, hop, or alcohol characters.

[Suggested Glassware: Shaker Glass]
The pour was a clear pale yellow with a colossal (4 or more fingers) white foamy head that receded very slowly lasting throughout and had some excellent sticky spotty lacing.
The aroma was exceptionally aromatic with a grain malt, perfume and floral hops and a light sweet yeast with notes of mango, pineapple and citrus (orange).
The taste was lightly sweet with a big tropical fruit note in the beginning, and then had a slight citrus peel bitterness with a nice fruit presence at the end. The flavor lasted an extremely long time after consumption, allowing for a most wonderful drinking experience.
Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a good strong ticklish carbonation.
Overall a fantastic Pale Ale with the flavors melding in such a fashion, that it created an extremely tasty and drinkable brew…
