A: Appearance is amber color with thin, beige head.
S: Aroma is citrus including grapefruit, pineapple and lemon.
T: Taste is almost completely dominated by the hops with a medium strong bitterness and notes of citrus. There’s only a slight hint of malty sweetness.
M: Palate is medium bodied, good carbonation, and bitter finish.
O: Just an average IPA, nothing remarkable.

I drank a Bells Two Hearted which is an averaged hopped IPA before consuming this. I would have figured with the name "Fistful Of Hops" this would be a massive IPA with a massive hop presence? However that assumption was vastly incorrect. I took a good sniff of it prior to drinking and didn’t really get a whole lot and I was looking to pick up on some hops in the beer. The mouth feel is not much there is no major hop bitterness or flavor from what I could tell. This made the Two Hearted I had just consumed seem like a 100+ IBU beer in comparison. There was a slight head on the beer and the huge was much darker than a typical IPA. The huge through me off as I would of expected more of a malty and spice presence but those where not there either. Overall this was a gigantic let down and wasn’t very enjoyable to drink.

Got a growler of this for the holiday weekend. Shared with some friends throughout the night.
A- Pours clear almost copper in color. White head fades away very quickly to just some appearance around the edge.
S- Nice almost completely hop aroma. Grapefruit and Citrus mostly. Hint of malts at the end.
T- Like the name and the nose, lots of hop flavor here. Right up front you get the bitterness with grapefruit flavor. Some citrus mixed in at the end with a little malt backbone. Seemed a little sweet at the end.
M- On the lighter side of medium body.
O- Very solid IPA, nothing spectacular, but good. Finished off the growler very easily and quickly. I like hops, so wouldn't mind having another growler of it.
poured cold from a growler grabbed a couple hours ago at the brewery a crisp, translucent light copper to a sun king shaped pint glass with a big bubbled, short lasting, white head that leaves a fair amount of quickly receding spotty lace after each sip.
great big citrus-y and grapefruit aroma.
as advertised, it's about the hops, and alot of them. big bitter grapefruit hops up front, followed by more hops. as it warms a bit, there's a hint of a caramel malt, but really, it's a hint at most and then its back to the hops.
bitter to the back of the tongue, light bodied, medium carbonation.
drinkable - sure, i'll finish the 32oz growler.
overall - absolutely hit the mark. big hops.
