I received this can from one of the stellar guys at Sun King. Thanks for the new tick!
I must say its an interesting concept, a cream ale with coffee. It pours the light bodied cream gold in color, as to be expected. The nose is very strong and very authentic. It's really impressive. It oddly enough does taste like coffee and cream. This beer somehow wreaks of authenticity. It was a hard feat to pull off but Sun King did it. The cream was actually a nice beer to infuse with coffee. It's very sessionable and really does do exactly what Sun King aimed for. They should can this full time. It is your weekend morning in a glass. Well done guys!

picked up at the brewery a couple days ago. sunlight cream ale infused with locally roasted Bjava coffee.
poured cold from the growler a translucent sunlight gold with a hint of a caramel brown tint to a sun king shaped pint glass with a short lasting foamy white head and minimal retention.
aroma of freshly brewed jet black coffee. done and done.
great big flavor from the first sip. big, fresh creamy cappuccino. super tasty. not too bitter, not too sweet.
crisp, clean, and medium carbonation, very subtle coffee bitter to the back of the tongue.
drinkability - yes. absolutely. i'd sure like to see more of this one.
