16oz can, courtesy of AleWatcher, poured into a pint glass.

A- Nearly perfect, as far as I am concerned. It is a translucent, light topaz color. The carbonation is incredibly active throughout and produces a 1/4 white foamy head that is there from start to finish. A sticky lacing leaves layers of rings around the glass.

S-black pepper, citrus peel, pine-like hops

T- bitter grapefruit (like eating a wedge with the skin on it, but a little more subtle), lemon and orange, a dry peppery finish.

M- light, frothy body with a favorably high carbonation level that leaves a tingling sensation at the finish.

O- very good. Not so much a run-of-the-mill APA. I had a Zombie Dust before dinner and this (much to my surprise and delight) compares to it, IMO. I will definitely be seeking more of this out in the future; hopefully this summer, as I could drink plenty ofthese on a hot summer day. Thanks again, Jeff!

16oz can, can't read the date or writing on the bottle of can
Riedel tulip

A: Pours a fairly clear orange color. Tons of carbonation. Three fingers fluffy white head. Sticks around a while. Sticky lacing.

S: Grassy grainy malts. Light citrus like hops. It's a pale ale. Nothing really special about the nose.

T: Light hop bitterness in the tip of the tongue. Bright citrus flavors from the hops. Mid palate is grassy grainy malts to mesh with the lighter hops. Pretty clean. Dry crisp refreshing finish.

M: Light medium bodied.

This was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be some magical citrus experience. I honestly felt that the beer was watery. It could have been an old can.

A: golden hazy
S: citra hops
T: balanced malt and hops
M: this is my biggest problem with this; it just seemed watery.

This beer has received many good reviews, I will have to try again sometime.
