Notes:
The White Birch Brewing Collaboration Series allows us the privilege to work with other passionate brewers, bringing together our ideas and creating unique beers. For this release we’ve partnered with Greg Oullette, Brewmaster at Martha’s Exchange in Nashua, N.H. Our goal was to blend a Belgian style Tripel with classic American hops. Drawing on all of our brewing experiences, we bring you the best of both worlds. We hope you enjoy this unique beer as much as we do.

From the 22 oz. bottle dated February 2012, Batch One, Number 1272. Sampled on May 26, 2012. The pour is a slightly hazy copper-amber with a big head that lasts for a good amount of the session. The aroma is noticeable from the bottle even before pouring it. It is pleasantly malted, slightly sweet, a little yeasty, with a moderate hop character. The body is around medium but creamy. While the aroma comes up a little sweet the taste tends to be more tart like a Tripel should be, with a dry hop character finishing it off. An interesting beer overall.

Pours a slightly hazy deep amber/copper color with a decent fluffy white head that shows remarkable resilience. Smells of sweet sugary and honey like malt with some spicy earthy and citrusy hops with just a hint of yeasty phenols. Taste is sweet up front. Honey and brown sugar vie for attention against an onslaught of orange and citrus. A bit of pepper midway with some yeasty notes and a hint of alcohol before a long lingering spicy earthy hoppy finish. Medium body with a moderated level of carbonation and a sweet just shy of syrupy mouthfeel. I've had this a couple of times and everytime I sample it I enjoy it a just a bit more. Great out of the box beer! (for my meager palette ;)..
