First, this would be my choice for a tasty craft brew or two before a show at the Tarrytown Music hall. Its about a 5 minute walk from the venue.
Respectable craft options, mellow and grown up/sorta hipster athmosphere. Funky options for a bite to eat (but not really the place for a meal)
Just a few on tap, but the bottle selection provides multiple quality options. Drafts and bottles mostly in the $6-8 range, which is pretty typical for the general area...welcome to Westchester County, NY. Nothing amazing, but the best option in Tarrytown.
Next option would be the Lazy Boy in White Plains, and FYI you are also not far from the Captain Lawrence tasting/drinking room in Elmsford

This is a smallish beer bar, located on Route 9, running through the middle of Tarrytown.
Went in for a beer with my girlfriend this past weekend, around 10 pm. Only 3 beers on tap, one of which was kicked. Kind of a disappointment here. Nice collection of bottles however, at least 25 different bombers available. Also a fair supply of 12 oz bottles.
The space is rather dark, but inviting. Some tables and chairs, we sat at the bar. Only one bartender..he was VERY well versed in his selection and seemed to have picked out the beers himself. After asking around, I found out he owns the place.
Not a college bar, most of the patrons were probably in the 30-40 range, young professionals either coming for craft brew or martinis (the other specialty of the bar).
overall, a good experience. Bartender said the stock rotates with the season and they sometimes have casks. Was a little pricey however. We paid $13 for a bomber of Southern Tier's Mokah. Good experience overall.
