Got a bottle shipped for $6.50 from halftime beverage. Poured into a pint glass.
A - Pour is a little too deep for a pale ale. More of a dark IPA with an amber brown body. Head is very unimpressive just a 1/4 inch that settles to a mild ring.
S - Not very bittering hops, more English malts if anything with a touch of herbal tea. All this is still very faint.
T - Again drinks more like a somewhat crafted IPA. Light biscuit malts, gram cracker sweetness, maybe some crystal malts, and a mild bittering finish that clings to the palate after every sip. Somewhat unbalanced but still enjoyable.
M - Body is medium bodied, somewhat dry but refreshing enough.
Overall not a bad first beer from these guys but I have had better balance in my uber hopped pale ales. Half decent IPA but a forgettable pale ale.

Cool beer, I had a pint at Draught 55 in Midtown East. It has a big hop character of what I'd consider old-school American craft hops, as in, Cascade and it's early APA friends. It has more citrus than an English IPA, but there's still a lot of grassy spice that at first made me wonder if this was a more of an American-English hybrid—especially with the smooth malty backbone. While there's nothing radical about this pale ale, it has a big, bright Cascade flavor with an easy-drinking body that I'd be happy to enjoy for a few pints.

Growlers, bitches. Right from the source.
Pours out dark orange.
Smell is pretty decent.
Great smooth taste with good hop- pop. Almost an extra Pale flavor to it.
Probably a bit biased, but this is my favorite local pale ale. Easy drinking and full of flavor.

On draft at Mr. Beery's, Bethpage, New York.
Poured a hazy medium copper hue with a two finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a very herbal hop and a light grain.
The taste consisted of an upfront herbal hop with a lightly sweet malt. Full doughiness at the finish with a slight funk.
The mouthfeel was round.
Overall a very nicely hopped ale.
