As a longtime Delco resident, Pinocchio's in my mind is a pizza institution first. But, boy am I glad they put in their bottle shop.
I made a quick stop in this weekend for my first visit. I could have spent hours, but since I had somewhere to be, I rushed a little more than I will next time.
The selection was phenomenal especially for Delaware County which has been a craft beer backwater for some time. There was a cooler for local brews (Victory, Sly Fox, Flying Fish) and the remaining coolers were packed with micros and imports. There was also a cooler with some 22oz bottles in it, but my access was blocked due to some guys at the bar sampling the draft selection.
I ended up coming home with a mixed six pack (with selections from Lagunitas, Bell's, Southern Tier, Great Divide, Duck Rabbit and Stone) for $17.00. Pretty happy with that price.
The place is small, but the staff was friendly. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Great food and great draft selection! It is a pizza place atmosphere which is average. But prices were great as was the draft selection! (They even had HF George on tap) Bottle shop was very small and super tight and with a bar in there the last three fridges were in accessible because the bar is almost right up the them

I never ate here, but the to-go selection of beer was pretty outstanding. Large selection of hard to find limited beers and a knowledgeable beer staff make this a place I count on to continue building my collection of ageable beers. Prices were a little high, but you get what you pay for.

One of the smallest places with the most selections of beer I have seen in such a small place! With only seating for 6 to 10 and standing room for another 4 or 5 this place is super small but the selection is unmatched in the area! I tried my first Aventinus Tap 6 from a bottle , which was almost as good as it was on tap! I'm not even kidding this place is literally the size of two 10 by 10 bedrooms, but with 24 rotating beers on tap and at least 100 different bottles, how can you not love this place! And in closing the prices are decent too!
Ps
They also sell 5 different growlers and refill them for decent prices too
They get A- minus in my book and eventually more of my money !

I'm a local, and this is my go to place to pick up a mix & match of single bottles. The selection is outstanding, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The beer garden gets packed at times, but if you hit it earlier in the day you can take your time, enjoy a beer and pick from their 800+ offerings. Oh, they fill growlers too!
I highly recommend their upside down pizza. It is made with delicious sharp provolone, and I can honestly say it beats anything within a 20 mile radius. They have monthly specials and offer a rotating selection of 20+ different beers on tap at all times.

The beer garden is a new addition to the long standing Delaware County tradition that is Pinocchio's Restaurant. It's a narrow space adjacent to the restaurant lined with coolers with a small bar/register at the back of the room. I haven't been here for a tasting yet but if it gets at least as crowded as it does during a typical Saturday afternoon of people picking up their six packs and growlers, it's got to be pretty cramped. Anyway, a great selection of beers (many are highly rated by the bros) and a cool place to stop for a quick pint or to shoot the breeze with some beer geeks. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

I was headed for the beer garden when I said to myself lets see how busy the bar is first, one empty stool and I dove for it.Tap selection was interesting with 20+ taps. I had the Ithaca Flower Power IPA, just the right amount of hops for me.Next I asked for a sample of the Stegmaier Pumkin Ale, not that good, so I spotted the Lagunitas Day Time Ale which I had not seen in the west. This is a great beer, grapefruit and some hops,a beer I could drink many of.
The pizza looked really good but I ate to much bread with my steamers at Iron Hill so off to the beer store.I new I wanted some Oskar Blues, none in the west, Tommynocker Pick Axe,Sly Fox RT113 and a few others, Wow this stuff is expensive.
Great place, great experience, just to expensive.

Atmosphere: You walk in, and seemingly every square inch of wall is plastered with this or that craft brewery poster or plaque. There's a ring around the ceiling of the innumerable different bombers they've had the pleasure of opening and tasting in the shop. It's immediately clear that this is a place where they take their beer seriously. A bit cramped but trying to pack that much goodness into the space available, I'll deal with a few "excuse me's." Plenty of regulars at the counter who enjoy craft beer and are willing to strike up a conversation. Great tunes in the background, and a bigscreen TV in the corner so one can watch whatever game is relevant at the time (or if I'm there, whichever soccer game might be available!)
Quality: Beyond compare. Essentially if it's available in PA it's there. If not, there's a decent chance they've taken a field trip to procure a few cases to enlighten those of us who don't really want to trek to NJ or DE for a sought-after bottle.
Service: Beyond compare. These guys know and love their beer. Assuming they aren't swamped with a weekend overflow crowd, they are at your leisure. Go in with a general "I wanna bring my friend a great sixer, he likes hoppy beers" sentiment and walk out with a six-pack to remember. Let them point you in the right direction, be honest if something you've heard hyped isn't worth your time, etc. Always willing to pour you a sample of one of their 25 drats, and will often offer to crack open a bottle you might be interested in to sample amonst yourselves. It's quite obvious their main mission is to satisfy and keep you coming back.
Selection: In terms of PA bottle shops, top notch. 850+ bottles, 25 rotating taps spewing the best of the best in craft beer today. Samples, pours, and growlers of anything they have on tap (minus the occasional nitrous keg). If there's something you're looking for but can't find there, they are extremely good at taking requests and trying their best to get it in for you.
Food: General pizzeria fare. Good pizza/fryer foods, great cheesesteaks/stromboli/wings. Most definitely not haute cuisine, but most certainly sufficient for coating one's stomach before overindulging in the Beer Garden!
Value: Extremely fair. Pours on draft are around $3-6 depending on the beer, mix-and-match bottles start just under $2 for the average assortment but can get up to $6+ for rare/in-demand selections. Bomber selections can be had for $6+ to much more for equally limited selections. It may be true that you could decide to drive a half hour to Jersey or Delaware and save a few bucks on certain bottles, but at least for me, the gas money isn't worth the hometown convenience of being able to pick up the same things at a slight premium, while simultaneously supporting an establishment I genuinely appreciate and appreciates me back.
These guys are the real deal. Stop in, have a pint, get smushed against the counter, talk beer with other beer nerds, watch a game, and love every minute of it.

A: For the empty bottles on the walls alone! Seemed like a beer nerds hang out; loved it. So there was a dude at the counter with a long pony tail, and out of the corner of my eye I thought he was drinking a Miller; NOPE!!! He had a tulip filled with what looked like a delicious dark stout. These guys really take their beer seriously!
Q: Not a heck alot of room. And the parking lot sucked, especially backing out. The store is pretty clean, and lots of beer on tap.
Ser: These guys are not just there to sell beer, the people there seemed like they really enjoyed talking about it. I just wish he hadn't shown me his secret stash from behing the counter. If I ever robbed this place they can have the cash, just give me the goodies on the shelves behind the counter haha.
Sel: Lots to choose from. A good PA beer store.
Food: Although I didn't try the food, I was going to buy a slice; until I saw it....old pizza.
V: Typical PA beer prices. Pay cash!
Glad I stopped!!! I'll be stopping again when I have the south-west run. Prost!!!

Absolutely amazing bottle shop. It had a huge, and hugely affordable collection. I saw so many beers I had not seen before, and unlike a few other stores I have been too, they were all affordable. The people were really nice, the other customers were all very nice people, and the beer was fresh. I picked up ipas from a few different states, none that border pa, and they were all ridiculously fresh and amazing. The biggest surprise fr me was finding a bomber of bitches brew for 14.50, after how expensive I had come to expect dfh beers to be. Overall an absolutely amazing bottle shop, and my new go to spot.
