Joshua's is located on Maine Street in Brunswick and is probably the quintessential local bar in town. By no means a super clean, nice, and new bar, the tavern nevertheless has lots of character, with townies, college students, and employees from the naval air base mixing and mingling.

Beer selection is good, not great. Several taps are dedicated to macros and lesser beers, but for the most part Joshua's serves up good Maine craft beer. There are usually 3-4 beers from Geary's, Shipyard and Sam Adams and always Allagash White, Long Trail Double Bag, Blue Moon, Guinness, Sierra Nevada, Harpoon IPA. Again, nothing jaw-dropping, but everything thing is 4 bucks a pint (macros are cheaper), and they don't fool around filling up glasses and pitchers at the bar. Personally, I'd like to see some more offerings from Allagash and possibly Bar Harbor at Joshua's.

Plenty of seating room. Two bars in the first floor tavern plus a restaurant upstairs that has tasty burgers and other basic food.

Solid bar and a good place to have some Maine craft beer while in Brunswick.
