Growler picked up at the Halfway House within Black Creek Pioneer Village (contains both the restaurant and brewery/brewing apparti). Split with a buddy of mine on September 15, on the same day that this was 'growlered.'

Opened up with a slight hiss, but poured a flat opaque orange with some browner and copper tinges - no head, no lace. Some citrus in the nose but greater notes of brown sugar, butterscotch and some sugary sweetbreads. Faint orange/tangerine. Taste is grainy and sweet breads, some sugary qualities. Doughy and almost graham cracker like, reminiscent of the malt profile in the Barley Days Harvest Gold Pale. Some rounder and sweeter citrus, that has more notability than the nose but is still pretty weak. Finishes with some hints of pine and some almost dank bitterness. Mouthfeel is almost completely flat with a medium body, that thins out in the finish. Moderate drinkability with some peculiar qualities, but not enough hop flavour to really make this worthwhile. Carbonation may have helped this beer's case.
