They have a great selection of beers and it is always very fresh. Last time I went I picked up some Firestone Walker Double Jack. Very reasonable prices as well, for example they have Southern Tier 2XIPA for $9.99 a six pack and Flower Power for $11.99.

I decided to stop by this place because I heard they had some Mikkeller barrel aged still on the shelf and it is not really out of the way for me. When you first walk in there is wine pretty much everywhere. Towards the back on the left hand side is where the beer is located. Overall, I would say they have a decent selection but I feel because of the holidays that they were a little low on some selections. They had plenty of some of the rare stuff that is out everywhere else, but on items that they should carry, they had none of. They have your basic Ommegang, SN, DFH, and some others, but nothing really eye popping except the Mikkellers IMO. I am going to give them an average on service because nobody offered to help me out and the girl at the check out looked bored out of her mind.
I will stop by every now and again, but I feel Wine and Bevergae Depot, Boonton, and Gary's are a better pick if your in the area.

Seems like Stew Leonards are popping up everywhere. At first, I was not impressed with the idea of a chain store, figuring they would concentrate on macros and macros only.
to my surprise, they carry a large beer selection. Bud, Miller, Coors, etc dominate the fridge, but they made room for Brooklyn Brewery, Ithica and a bunch of others.
They carry a vast number of foreign and micro beers on their shelves. This is the first place I have seen Tommyknocker and Shiner. An area is dedicated to local beers, includes Flying Fish, River Horse, Climax and Cricket Hill.
The prices are not bad. It is the cheapest mini leg of Newcastle that I found around. They are always having wine and spirit samplings, as well as offering cheese and dip samples. Overall, for a chain store, a good beer stop.

Stopped in here for the first time this weekend. Very pleasantly surprised with the selection, they had a fantastic amount of singles with every style well represented, and plenty of diversity from region and brewery. Many hard to find bottles as well. Left there with a Double Bastard, a Weyerbacher Harvest Ale, Sam Smith Taddy Porter, Sam Smith Yorkshire Stingo, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, Rogue OREgasmic Ale. Prices were reasonable for everything. Definitely a well organized and well stocked store, great place to find something interesting which may not often be seen.

store is nice inside. lots of wine & booze. small assortment of 6packs, bombers & 750's but they had brews that my favorite stores never have so it balanced out in a way. the nj norm + butternuts, cases of sierra nevada bombers stacked on the floor, ft. collins, schafly, harviestoun, brothers reserve. they tend to bring out limited release bottles months after they're long gone, so that's always cool.
pricing is always a p.i.t.a. here, I almost always need to bring something up to the front to ask "how much" cause they never have the price tagged. Annoying....
all in all an OK place to drop in. no one asked me if i needed help nor did i ask. prices were a little cheaper than others on certain bottles, vice versa.

Stopped in here on my rather epic week long trip in ny and nj. Me and my friend hit about 20 places this day and this was one of the first as I was not staying terribly far from here. Walked in and it was about what I was expecting. Decent little store, I was asked within seconds if I needed any help, but I just went along on my way browing, found the normals for the area, ST, cricket hill, brooklyn, etc. Prices seemed pretty reasonable on most things, a magnum of OSA for 18, I didnt mind seeing that at all. Nice quick stop for me as it was all very well laid out and clean. Nothing really spectacular but a solid store I have to admit.

I was slightly surprised to find that this store is a standalone establishment and not connected to a larger Stew Leonards grocery. Not that it affects anything, but it was neat to see a separate store.
The inside of the store is clean and bright with wines and liquors of all kinds dominating the floorspace. Towards the back and to the left are where the craft beers lie and there's a decent selection to choose from. A few beers from Unibroue, Stone, Founders, Ommegang and Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel are the most exciting offerings. Their craft shelves are not as impressive as some others I've seen, but not terrible as I wasn't expecting very much. All the bottles I checked were pretty fresh, so I was happy about that.
Service was okay, I was asked if I needed help after about 20 minutes of browsing around. I went relatively early in the morning so there were few customers about other than myself. So-so service, but it's a chain supermarket so I'm not really going to expect more.
Prices were average based on what I'm used to. Nothing too extravagantly priced, but nothing super cheap either.
Overall, a decent store with an okay selection. Good if you live in the area, but definitely not one to make a day trip for.
