12oz brown bottle. Freshness marked as "enjoy by Aug."

Pours a very pale, straw-ish yellow colored beer, touch of haze, with scattered slow moving carbonation bubbles. Quick white foam heads dies to a translucent wispy lacing of almost nothingness.

Neutral aroma.

Light bodied with a bland feel on the palate and touch of carbonation tingle. Malt flavors are also bland, with some sweetness. Wheatiness comes through a bit, a bit cereal-like, but this too is bland. Though a touch of breadiness mingles in with some tannins as the beer warms, giving the beer some much needed character. Little hop flavor or bitterness, expect for a very watery melon / rind flavor. Touch of fruity something in there too. Hint of an herbal offering and a honey-ish note. Drying lackluster finish.

Hmm ... I guess if you wanted a beer that you didn't really have to think about and wanted to suck down your neck in the hot summer ... this could be your beer. And I get it, that's the point of this beer, but it still offers little and I hate seasonal stereotypes that lack on purpose, so I'll leave it at that.

The warm weather is here in Boston ... time for some summer beer to start off with.

12 oz brown bottle with a freshness date on the label, good head retention and a shimmering pale golden color.

Shortbread biscuit aroma with some hints of lemon zest, clean yet fragrant.

Moderate body and fluffy palate, crisp wheat with a mild bubble gum undertone up front. Touch of lemon peel and hop bitterness are the quencher here. Nice clean and drying finish.

This is one light yet tasty summer brew, I could see getting it by the case and serve it up nice and cold.

I poured this beer into a perfect pint, it has a nice straw gold color body with a small foamy head that hangs out for a while. The aroma is of wheat with some lemon to it. The taste is mostly wheat with some lemon coming through, as it warms up so does the lemon flavor. The mouth feel is really good, smooth and defently an a easy summer beer.

This beer pours a clear, bold yellow with a thin, bubbly head and no lacing. The aroma is of lemons with dough and a hint of hay. The flavor leads off with lemons with notes of wheat and cake. There's a good balance between the wheat malt and the hops. As it warms the cake fades and the lemon stands on it's own. The mouthfeel is light-medium, thicker than most wheat beers. Wachusett Summer is a real good brew, light, balanced, and refreshing. Perfect for warm weather. Recommended!

On tap at Pawtucket Red Sox games.

A: Bright and clear golden yellow with a thin layer of white foam.

S: Lemony and grassy throughout.

T: Biscutiy malt with a notable flavor of lemon zest from start to finish. Flavors are complimentary and very distinct.

M: Fizzy and light, but not watery. Even a little resiny, in fact.

O: I like me some wheat ales and they seem to become more popular in the summer. I definitely prefer this over Sam Summer, which tastes kind of muddled to me. Think this has knocked Narragansett Summer off as my favorite June-to-August brew,
