Located in the small mall off of Lower Boones Ferry, just across from the new library, it's a little hard to find, but worth the effort, as the only other selection of specialty beers in this town is apparently Haggens grocery store...a place with a lot less atmosphere. (*!*)
The BirraDeli is cute, and even though it is quite small it packs a lot into its narrow space--even tables and chairs!. They offer freshly made sandwhiches at reasonable prices between $5-$10...and their two large fridges house a selection of over 150 unique and tempting specialty beers. They encourage variety packs.
I recently stopped by to check out their selection of imperial ipas and stouts. Although they do carry a wide variety, their prices on the smaller bottled imperials have skyrocketed.
Staff is generally friendly, helpful, and offer great recomendations. I hear they have a beer tasting event every third Thursday for $5 a head...I'll have to catch one.

Interesting little deli / beer store / video poker establishment. Located in a strip mall off Lower Boones Ferry Road in Tigard.
When you walk in there are about 5 or 6 tables and there are 4 large beer coolers along the walls. The beers are all sorted by style and the selection is solid. Many of the great Portland beers are found, including the fresh Blue Dot from Hair of the Dog and one of my personal favorites, Workhorse from Laurelwood. They had a small but decent selection of Belgians, some Russian River (no Pliny though, clerk said the distro doesn't give them any). I noticed some Abyss on the back shelf and the clerk mentioned they have a few cases of it still!
The prices for singles seemed high -$15 for a 375 ml of Supplication, $7.80 for Orval. However, when you buy six bottles, you get 25% discount on everything. This makes it much more reasonable and if you buy a six pack that is actually one of the best prices on Russian River in town.
The atmosphere is a little odd with the video poker in the back. They have 6 taps, when I was there they had a few nice locals (hop henge!) one domestic and one Negro Modelo?.
I didn't try the food but the sandwiches looked decent and the prices were good.
I am looking forward to coming to one of the beer tastings - $5 for all you can eat and drink!

Great value, from the spendy Belgians to a tasty inexpensive micro-brew.
The ambiance is more bright deli than sleepy bar so the beer is really the focus a unless you are a poker machine junky.
Good selection of Belgian beer, import and domestic alike. Lots of IPAs to choose from and more than a couple of Doppelbocks available too.
Local microbrews galore and a fair smattering from my neck of the woods too including Sam Smiths.
Can get a really tasty Sandwich here during the day while you quaff a pint or get it all to go.
