Poured from 22 oz bottle into Duvel tulip.

Pours a bright golden color slightly hazed. Solid finger and a half, white head. Appears to have moderate carbonation. Decent lacing.

Lots of hop aromas going on. Pine, citrus, mango, and grapefruit are what's most prominent. Light caramel malt lingering in the background.

Right up front are some softer fruits, like apricot. There's a quick punch of bitterness and then it mellows out again revealing other fruit notes. Light caramel malt in the background just as in the aroma.

Medium body and moderate carbonation. Extremely drinkable for 7%.

A great ipa, although I'm not sure it deserves the legendary status it receives. Like how the hops aren't necessarily punch you in the mouth, although I feel like this beer could use some more malt backbone to give it a bit more balance.
