12oz brown bottle.
Clear dark amber hue, not a peep from the head so the head stays a head and does not crackle to lacing until several sips are taken. Smells of grapefruit, tangerines, pipe tobacco and peppermint from the hops ... hint of toasted bread in the back. Super smooth with an oily hop slickness on the tongue. Perhaps not a huge bitterness, it does have a sting to it, the flavor is quite vast with floral, citric, minty and leafy flavors. Hint of grapefruit rind? The maltiness at least puts its foot in the door with a well rounded toasted bread flavor. Alcohol is noticeable with fruity esters and warmth but not hot at all.
Delicious comes to mind, a bit of a slow sipper as there is a lot going on here ... a well put together ale.

A: Dark orange full of vibrant effervesce. Peanut shell toned head is average in heigth and retention. Lacing is spotty with spongy dabs on the vessel.
S: Fresh hops, piney-orange-citrus of moderate awarenss. Okay but a little played out and hardly the attention getter in a tough field.
T: Malty flavor, orange citrus, nice depth upon the first taking. Piney-citrus hops are bitter, flowery with a big malting of toasted bread that is warming. Spicy pine bite on the back end with just the slightest of malt sweetness upfront that is soon swallowed by a flowery citrus bitterness. A touch more complexity adn a solid 4.0 rating may be in order.
M: Vibrant carbonation, a big malt lush helping, sharp and tingly, bready and full. Sharp bitterness after the swallow.
O: An ordinary nose turns to a malt forward experience for flavor. Good level of bitterness, strong carbonation factor that is bitter, but not exactly sharply defining. Good malt support, good drinkability and good ibus to boot.

First from Evolution!!
Pours out a nice deep orange with about 2 fingers of a nice, white fluffy head.
The aroma has a decent amount of pine followed by some grapefruit, citrus and some caramel malt and bready malt notes too.
The taste is also very pine forward with a nice amount of grapefruit and some light citrus notes. On the backend there is some sweet caramel notes with some slight bready malt. Not overly complex.
The body is medium and the mouthfeel is crisp.
This is not the most mindblowing or complex IPA I have ever had, but it has a lot of nice hop notes and some decent bitterness. It's a solid example of the IPA style and should be tried at least once. Very refreshing.
