A friend and I checked this place out. Not a bad sports bar atmosphere. They get the sunday NFL pass so this is a plus for sports lover's. In the beer department their were 30 taps and not one macro on tap. They had the 120 min on tap (only one per customer) which is a plus and the owner began to tell me they were one of four in the state of Florida to get it. The food is regular pub food not to deep in the menu category. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The outside seating is a plus. The prices were a bit much in my opinion. My buddy got Magic hat #9 for $6.00 and my Rasputin was 7.00 for the pint after I just read people can get a four pack for $9.99. So yes a tad bit expensive. All and all an enjoyable place to catch a game and a pint.

Went here on vacation from Jersey, and the selection of beer was great...30 or so taps with plenty more in bottles. The list of beers is now color coded to the type. (Hoppy, Wheat, Belgian, etc.) We went here 4 times on our 4 day trip so that should tell you something. Tuesday night they had a buy a Radeberger and get the glass for free for $3, which you can't beat...the glass itself is worth $10. They also do a quiz game with other bars in the States, so that was a good time. Karokee night was pretty good... I am not a singer myself but the people that had the balls to get up there were quite good. They have an outdoor seating area where you can bring you dog, and watch TV. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and were willing to give you samples if you were unsure of your selection. Overall, this place was great for drinking but the food menu was small, so maybe have dinner elsewhere and then end up here.

Was really excited to have a beer bar so close to my house, but I would rather go down the road to Oldsmar or Dunedin. The selction is heavy Belgium, stay clear if you like hoppy beers. They decour depicts a french market not really what you would expect from a beer bar. Now they do serve a variety of coffee drinks (probably why they chosse the decor but this is a beer review not a coffee one)
The staff is friendly but not knowledgeable, I ordered a Jai lai Ipa and got a stout. When I told the waiter he told me they were kind of the same. I laughed and told him to please get me the drink I ordered and not sell me on the one I didn't. They serve frozen blueberries in there Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat that my wife absoulutly loved.
They have outdoor seating that you can bring your dog to. They do have a few food items, but have yet to try. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed lots of suits the few times I have been. Prices are about a buck or 2 higher than other bars. And they close at midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Not a hardcore beer bar like Dunedin or Oldsmar, but seems to have carved out a niche.

The Brew Garden opened quietly a few months ago and is the latest in a series of Tampa Bay beer bars specializing in a wide selection of drafts and bottles. This one is owned an operated by Savino, the long-time proprieter of the World of Beer retail store located not far away.
A friend and I stopped in recently before a concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall which is just a few blocks down the road. TBG offers about 30 quality beers on tap and another hundred or so in the bottle. The draft selection tilted towards Belgians when I was there, but a good cross section of others beers were available as well. It's a nice location with an open bar and dining areas and a large shaded and sheltered outside patio. The inside area also offers NTN trivia.
Foodwise, the selection is not large with the menu consisting 3 or 4 sandwiches and some appetizer plates. However, I was pleasantly impressed with the sandwich I ordered. I'm often leery of food in places that don't seem to be running a full kitchen but the turkey/apple/brie sandwich I had was very tasty, unusual, and paired very well with the La Chouffe I enjoyed with it.
Overall, The Brew Garden is another welcome addition to the Tampa Bay beer scene. It should be a very popular location for the many travelers and vacationers who visit Clearwater and the beach and are looking for a place with a really good beer selection.
