Definite dessert drink. Like a peach ice wine. Chardonnay carries the huge rounded peach nose and flavor. A balanced acidity and pure peach finish. Nuanced and interesting.

I can only compare this to a dry sherry or a vin jaune. And, to be fair, this is what Upright pegged it as. They told us that's what they're going for. So, at the risk of being judgmental, all the people rating it as "beer" are doing it wrong. Tasting this along with BA Dark Lord or whatever the fuck is just ... stupid? Or, less, harshly, meaningless. Imagine someone saying "I drank this 1er cru champagne alongside all these awesome Tree House IPAs and it didn't stand out at all". This is not that beer. It's not a share beer. They TOLD us that. The aroma on this is nuanced and lovely. Peach, bitter almond (maybe something sweeter too, marzipan?), dried orange peel, noyaux, seaside ... there's a salinity and oxidized dryness very reminiscent of some sherry. Drank this with some Spanish cheeses and marcona almonds but I could see oysters, clams, even a seafood stew being incredible.

Corked but not capped, very small pop when opened. bottle #47 of 240
Pours with no head, just a few bubbles. Orange/Peach in color, Smells peachy with some white wine. Taste is orange, peach and white wine, very gueuze like. there is a lot of white wine but is somehow still mellow, not over powering the peach. White wine and oak on the finish. I enjoyed this more than expected. Even though it is still, it was quite enjoyable and drinkable.

2014 release
A: Peachy orange, still
S: Peaches, white wine, funk
T: Is this white wine or beer? Whatever it is, the taste kind of blew my mind. Huge punch of white wine with juicy peach and a pretty intense layer of sour. Totally unique, totally delicious.
M: Drinks like wine.
O: This one goes into the category of one of the most unique beers I've had, it also happened to be delicious!
