Was very happy to see this on tap at St Augustines. A top-notch coffee stout that is pure caffeine roasty notes with the strong stout underpinnings. The coffee is smooth and pronounced but melds with the stout. A perfect Brunch beer as it works well with food and the finish is not cloying so is very drinkable

Appears black with a solid brown color head. It looks much like a cup of coffee.

It smells exactly like straight up roasted coffee. The coffee flavor is very strong. I suppose I get a bit of a cream smell and a tad bit of a raw sugar cane smell.

It tastes just as it smells like a well roasted strong cup of coffee. I get a nice rich roasted coffee flavor. There is also a slight bitter chocolate taste. This is a very dry beer and there is little to no sweet flavor to this stout. The beer ends with a nice coffee like bitterness. The stout is extremely smooth.

The carbonation is moderate low and there is a smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

The drinkability is great it goes down like a smooth unsweetened ice coffee. I really could not taste any alcohol in this stout.

Overall this is the best coffee stout I have had. It is amazingly coffee like smooth and creamy. Highly recommended if you see it around.
