M and M is listed as a sour brown ale at Malt and Vine. It pours a clear dark brown with a good thin fluffy head. Aromas of sour fruit and light alcohol sweetness. Taste is a thin sour plum and maybe raisin with a bit of chocolate malt. Kind of thin mouthfeel but a crisp carbonation finishes it up.
A pretty easy drinking sour (if that's what it indeed is) that is pleasantly sour with some interesting flavors but just not too much.

Served in tulip glass. Poured a pleasant reddish-brown color with an inch+ of light tan head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma was earthy, with a slight hint of vinegar, and somewhat fruity. On the tongue the fruit flavors were in front, there was yeast and spice in the middle and a touch of sourness on the back.
The body was smooth, round and full without being heavy. The drinkability of this brew was good, easy, dry and a little tart. Overall, a very pleasant beer. I agree that this beer might be a Dubbel, but it wasn't listed on the breweries website, so I couldn't check to see what they call it. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.

On tap at Upright tasting room 5.9.2010, 16 OG, 7.2 ABV, 22 IBU. Not entirely sure about style, should have asked Alex, could possibly be a dubbel.
One finger light tan head, quick dissipation with some lacing retained. Dark brown hazy body, no visible carbonation, probably due to dark color. Nose is a bit of chocolate but not much, dry, floral hops. Taste is raisins, some dark cherries, but not overly sweet, gets bitter towards the end, especially once it warms up, with a bit of tobacco funk. Medium mouthfeel, not too full, some effervescence but a bit thin for style. Pretty drinkable, worth a try if you can find this tasty one-off from one of Beervana's up and coming breweries.
