The Henry's in Eastlake (suburb of San Diego) is a very welcome surprise when it comes to beer selection. I've been to several Henry's in S.D., and they all have typical supermarket selections of beer. Except for this one. Here, they must have an employee that knows their stuff. They get many limited & seasonal releases. They are a little pricier, but not by much.

I gave it an average atmosphere rating because it's a grocery store, primarily, and average service because I've never seen an employee in that section helping people. But the prices always ring up correctly.

I was really blown away with the awesome selection of beers on hand. Harry is amazing, and will talk to you about what they have, and what you want. From a great variety of DOGFISH HEAD, to ALE SMITH, LOST ABBEY...limited editions, and just a good variety that you can't get in most places. The customer service-amazing.

I actually went in looking for an oatmeal stout. I was in the mood for something unique, and was looking for a good variety. I ended up walking out with a goldmine...shared it with friends at my beer club. The greatest part of this place is that it is a hop skip and a jump from home.
