We brewed this beer inspired only by the challenge to do something we have never done. Brew a triple IPA? What the hell is a triple IPA anyway? Is it a young barley wine or a super imperial IPA? Well whatever it is, here you go! Enjoy with caution and make sure you are sitting down.

Look: Great.
Smell: Nice.
Taste: Pine shines. Fruitiness and hoppiness take a backseat to the pine.
Feel: Creamy mushy carb.
Overall - Easy drinking.

Pours a pretty darn clear amber-gold with a finger of bone coloured, thick and sticky looking head.
Toasted sweet pale malts, tropical fruits and fresh cedar, some citrus, and very slight green onion on the nose.
Resinous hops, sweet pale malts but fairly clean, not very cloying. There's some citrus with a slight tang and the bitter oily rinds. No shortage of hops.
Pretty full body, medium-low carbonation.
Great stuff. I can't help but think Lagunitas sucks here, but a side by side might find that comparison way off ...it has been a little while, just popped into my head while drinking.

This is a nearly flawless beer in my opinion.
Sweet maltiness without the nasty syrupy feel. Hopped to hell without the same ol same ol. Perfect balance. A little boozy which you would expect from something called triple IPA. Really, considering that it is 10.4 percent, the booze taste is hidden extraordinarily. These guys deserve their reputation.
