Once again, served in a straight pint glass at the Green Frog Cafe in Bellingham, WA. Poured a hazy orangeish-straw color with a head of fluffy, tightly packed, white bubbles that very good retention and above average lacing.
Mostly malt aromas with a slight citrusy hop scent. The flavors follow the lead of the aromas, with the well balanced flavors complementing each other nicely. The smooth malt foundation blends into the slight hop tang resulting in an enjoyable brew.
The body is as expected for the style, just a little fuller than average. A most drinkable beer, having several of these with whatever activity you enjoy would be an excellent idea.
Overall a very good example of the style, worth seeking out.

Growler filled at Schooner Exact on 8/11/11. Poured to a red plastic keg cup (notes from 8/13/11):
A - Poured clear amber orange, with 1/2-finger of off-white small-to-medium bubble head. Moderate retention, spotty lacing.
S - Light honey sweet malts first, then mild graininess, followed by mild burnt caramel. Scent finishes slightly bready, with a hint of piney hop.
T - Sweetly bready, with mild graininess to start, easing into moderate and slightly piney bitterness. Finishes with grain/rice and a hint of butter.
M - Medium body. Sizzly light-to-moderate carbonation at the front of the tongue, with moderate bitterness at the back.
D - More bitter than expected, and the sweetness and buttery breadiness adds a counterpoint and complexity. A good light and flavorful beer. Not quite crisp or thirst-quenching enough to be a summer beer, this seems more appropriate for fall.

Growler filled at Schooner Exact. Poured into a red plastic "keg cup" on August 13th, 2011.
A: The beer poured a dark yellow with a fluffy white head of foam. Minimal lacing clung to the sides of the cup.
S: There are some nice hoppy, grassy notes here backed by a light malt profile.
T: Nice bitter notes from the grass and pine present in the aroma. There is a minimal malt flavor lingering around in the back.
M: Regrade has a nice crisp moth feel with a decent amount of bitterness from the hops.
O: This is a great easy drinking pale ale.

Poured from a 1L swingtop; poured hazy gold color, white head that is proper for style. Smell is citrus, pine, honey malt. Taste is crisp citrus with a nice biscuit backbone, mouthfeel is light and carbonation is spot on. Smooth and silky, not harsh, the flavors play nice off of eachother in their simplicity. Pretty darn good quaffer!
