Nice new place in town, with a definite beer focus.

Located right downtown, with lots of tables, a long bar, and frequent bands playing.

Quality is good, recent taps included Stone, Oskar Blues, and Anderson Valley.

Service is not bad. Sometimes it get a little on the slow side, but it's usually tentative enough with out being overbearing. Often friendly and a bit talkative too.

Selection is nice. I especially like how they tend to serve stuff on draft that is not common to Redding. Recently they have had Oskar Blues night (5 of their beers on draft) and a couple of beers from little Buckbean Brewing. They have 8 taps, and at least 30 something bottles.

Food is actually quite good. It's not quite 4.5, but I'd give it a 4.25 if that score was available. And a lot of it is pretty unique stuff, and not standard pub fare, which is a nice change of place.

All in all, a nice new addition to the Redding scene. (which is pretty thin, so anything is nice!)
