Enjoyed on nitro at the brewery in a pint glass. Pours near black with a nice brown head. Nose has dark malts, chocolate and hops. Taste is similar. Not bad, but nothing too impressive here. A good beer to wash down some of the bbq thats outside I guess. Light to medium body drinks well enough. Just nothing that really stands out here.

Took a trip down to Colorado Springs last week, mainly to visit this brewery. Had this one on tap in the tasting room. Poured a very dark brown, almost black color, with a half inch of tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. On the palate, this one was thin and very light for a stout, with flavors of dark chocolate, roasted malt and coffee.
