(Batch 3.1% ABV). 330ml bottle. Tumbler glass. Every time I´ve enjoyed this I felt it so amazing. Yellow color & foggy appearance. White froth, copious crown, good retention, rocky lasting spots & lacing. Floral, earthy, citric, intense fresh yeast aromas, piney & resiny fragrances. Sharp bitter flavor on the upfront lingers into a dry bitter finish. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Rough & earthy hops in the middle as well as pine needles are barely balanced by pale malts. Oily texture. Citric astringency & aftertaste. Refreshing. Very easy drinkability as expected from a low alcohol beer. Highly recommended to avoid a boring session beer.

Cellar temp bottle poured into a pint glass.

A: Clear yellow liquid, plenty of large bubbles on the bottom of the glass that occasionally break away and rise to the surface. White foam head with good lacing.

S: Big citrus nose with a touch of pale malt sweetness.

T: Very bitter and hoppy. Citrus flavors are everywhere. This beer was described to me as hop juice, but to me its more like hoppy grapefruit juice. There is just that much citrus.

M: The body doesn't feel as light as you'd expect such a low ABV beer would possess. Carbonation is very good. There is a watery coat left behind that has some bitterness.

O: An interesting beer. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone who doubts a low alcohol beer can have a big hop flavor.

A- Pours a hazed straw color with a bone white head.

S- biscuity malt with a really nice floral lemon zest hop nose.

T- crackery dry maltiness enveloped by floral citrus zest hop flavor.

MF- thin watery mouthfeel

D- very drinkable with solid hop flavor.

Bright blonde with snow white film and some odd floaties and just the occasional trail.
Incredible grapefruit and lemon hard candy nose, like Jarl.
Unripe melon and a hint of saltines crushed by what has to be Citra musty grapefruit.
Lemon fruit pastille finish and loooong grapefruit rind and aspirin linger. Light, crisp, salty, slightly oily.

A true accomplishment to cram this many hops into a 2.8% beer. (Are you listening, Brits?) But consequently it lacks the malts (pilsner and carapils only) to back up the IBUs. Quenching but not easy, though I would drink it by the 6 pack at this strength.

Edit: Turns out to be Amarillo single hopped.

First had: on tap at TJ's, Paoli, PA

All hail these importers bringing us new and interesting selections. Such as this Spanish attempt at an American IPA. Straw-yellow pour with a slight haze, medium-sized foamy white head that retained well, leaving doily lacing on the glass. Aroma was nice, not exactly what I'd call "spot on" for the style, but a good start: crisp grassy hops, citrus notes, lighter touches of earthiness and pale malts. I'll note the obvious: this delivers a blast of great flavor for a 2.8% ABV brew. Crisp and hoppy, grassy, leafy, lemony...impressive. Tasty enough to distinguish it from its more mellow cousin, the English IPA. The flavor quite makes up for the inevitable lack of body, which, all things considered, still was on the "close to medium end" of light. Pretty nice overall.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a brownish-yellow color and a cloudy texture. There was an inch of foamy head that lasted a fair amount of time. Pretty good lacing.

S: A nice aroma of hops, malt, and a little citrus. Smelled kind of like an English IPA.

T: Tasted of malt, mild hops, a little grain, and citrus in the finish. A different flavor, but oddly pleasing. I know other reviews have said this, but it bears repeating: This beer tastes like both an APA and an English IPA. It's a strange hybrid, but it works somehow.

M: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth, lively finish. Light-bodied.

O: A very drinkable and enjoyable beer. By far the best beer from Spain I've tried.

Large foam head. Light in color, almost lagerish.

Good amount of bitterness on the nose. Grassy.

A bit of hops and some yeast. A little apple. Bitterness again but it is balanced very well. Almost like a hybrid of a heifeweizen, a wit and a pale ale.

Very drinkable to the point where I had to remind myself to savor this delicious and expensive beer.

I wouldn't normally pay on the higher end of prices for such a low ABV beer but I found this beer to be very tasty and unique. An ideal beer for a hot day.

On tap at Deep Ellum in Boston. Served in a 400ml mug.

This looks like a light yellow straw color in daylight. There’s some foam too, releasing a hoppy, grassy, floral aroma. Tastes very green—it’s a grassy hop forward beer—with a chewy pine end on a bracing finish. I can’t believe this beer is only 2.5%.

From notes taken at the Armsby Abbey on 10/26/11. Hard to believe no one has given this unique beer a grade above a B+...until now.

A - Poured into a tulip a super light straw hue with a one finger head that, somehow, leave thick side lacing! This is only 2.8%?!

S - Good hop aroma (pine, light citrus), some very slight malt sweetness and earthyness.

T - Very light fruits (apples) and more of those bitter hops (pine, citrus). Tastes like a hop soda. Incredibly flavour for something so low of ABV.

M - Seems that people are knocking this beer for being thin or watery. Well, taking the low ABV into account I think the mouthfeel is pretty damn good. Its a very fizzy carbonation, again, like soda. I dont find it that thin at all.

O - I really, really enjoyed this very refreshing and unique beer. Would definately be nice to have on a warm summer day.

I would call this a Belgian IPA. Good yeasty opening, with nice bitter finish. Great taste at this low a.b.v. Generous retained head. Very Good drinkability. Nice balance. Yeasty aroma.Average mouthfeel or better by a tad.Recommended if you like bitter or yeasty.
