a: pours a nice golden orange color with about a half inch of head that quickly dissapears into a thick layer of lacing towards the center of the beer with a thinner covering outwards and then a thick layer again in a ring around the edge of the glass. there seems to be a few floaters in the brew visible in the glass
s: honey sweetness, hints of dark fruits as well as a slight clovey aroma hints of alcohol as well
t: to be honest it tastes like a boozy hefe weizen reminds me a lot of new glarus's dancing man wheat but the bannana and clove taste are as strong and the alcohol is more present. banannas, cloves and warmth from the alcohol are all present
m: medium to light bodied beer with good carbonation
overall, i really enjoyed this. I got it in a make your own 6er at Dennis Brothers in Cottage Grove, MN. I just wish it was more sessionable

Appearance: Honey-gold, effervescent, good head that dissipates rapidly
Aroma: Honey, malty, citrusy
Taste: Malty, creamy, with a dry finish; hoppy on the finish, but not bitter; well balanced. Quite good.
Remarks: Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores

A: Pale yellow body, crystal clear. Dense white head, excellent retention.
S: Honey sweet, boozy, candy sugar, sweet pils malts.
T/M: Light, lively carbonation, honey sweetness, smooth yeast presence, fruity esters linger.
O: What I expect with a Belgian Blonde. Solid yeast and malt characteristics compliment each other while being simply subtle.

An okay beer. Definitely a little over the top when it comes to unnecessary carbonation. I hate overly carbonated beers that keep you belching for 24 hours straight. Husband and I both had a tummy ache after consuming a single bottle. Won't be trying this again. However, loved the color, smell and after taste. A very pretty beer in terms of appearance.

330ml bottle into a goblet.
Pours a slightlly hazy medium gold with a few chunks making it into the glass. I downed the rest out of the bottle.
Pears really dominate the aroma along with some floral hops and light bready malt. A really pleasant aroma that lacks much of the clove/banana of other Belgians but is unique all its own.
The Belgiany character comes out more in the flavor with clove and bubblegum but the abundant pear is still there and provides a great citrus touch. A nice pilsner malt character and some light floral/grassy hops round it out. A soft drying mouthfeel makes this a real refreshing beer to drink.
Overall, a great Belgian that is very refreshing and light. It may not have all the complexities of some of the stronger Belgain ales but it is a pleasure to drink nonetheless.
