look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4
Appearance: A great looking Belgian pour, with a massive head that sits atop the cloudy amber liquid; sticks and laces nicely, too
Smell: A range of golden fruit (apricot and pear, in particular), grassy hops and some peppery yeast phenols
Taste: The first element that appears is the cookie dough malt, with the pear and apricot elements adding complexity; by mid-palate, the grassy hops and peppery yeast make their presence felt, as well; while there is some sugary sweetness in the aftertaste, the finish is relatvely dry for the style
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: While it lacks a great mouthfeel, this beer makes up for it by holding the alcohol and sugary sweetness in check; too many tripels, I find, suffer on both of those fronts

Poured into a tulip glass.
A - Deep gold/orange body, with strong lasting head, very much the appearance of a Belgian triple
S - quite subtle to my sense, but floral hops and citrus were definitely there
T - Orange peel, grassy hops, coriander, some roast malt, and brown sugar come together in this one. On the sweeter side, but nicely balanced.
M - very smooth, nice amount of carbonation
Overall, this is a very nice example of the style. All the flavours are there, and very well balanced. Reminded me of La Chouffe due to the sweetness, but that's not a negative trait either.

Hazy golden color with a two finger thick head with medium retention and leaving laces. Some floating particles.
Light aroma of malt, sugar and yeast.
Predominant flavor of pineapple, white grapes and apples with condiments such as pepper and cloves. Hints of malt, brown sugar, non-sweet guaraná. Dry and numbing aftertaste.
Medium body with a low carbonation, though with an effervescent sensation. Alcohol of 9% ABV is harmonic.
Well balanced for a Tripel, acidy and not too sweet. It really grows with degustation time; I had to change this write up at the end once its complexity became more apparent.

A: The beer is clear bright golden yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high white head that has excellent retention properties and slowly died down, consistently leaving a finger high head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of candi sugar and yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell except that there are also notes of bitterness and peppery spices as well as hints of alcohol and light fruits.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate to high amount of carbonation. Notes of dryness are present in the finish.
O: This tripel hides its alcohol rather well and the high amount of carbonation and the pepper spices help to cut through the candi sugars and prevent this from being too sticky and sweet.
