Had this on 2012-06-18 at the brew pub in Olmstead, OH (from tasting notes)

A - Mostly spaque dark brown with a 1/2-finger tan head and good lacing.

S - Pretty mild caramel. Touch of hop floral. Sweet. (food odors are present)

T - Nice roasted grain and chocolate with good citrus bitterness. No coffee. Tastes good.

M - Light-medium body and high carbonation Crisp and refreshing.

O - Nice when you want a lighter brown that still has a lot of flavor. Similar to the TBA collaboration.

Enjoyed this on tap at Fat’s head.

A: Pours a deep reddish-brown hue with a thin 1-finger tan head that quickly dissipates into a wispy lace.

S: Toasted malt aroma with caramel and chocolate in the background.

T: Flavors similar to the smell as toasted malts, caramel, and chocolate cross the palate with a slightly hoppy flavor.

M: Medium body and minimal carbonation.

O: This is a really good Brown ale – comes in at a strong 7.3% abv yet it was masked nicely by the malts and hops.
