Enjoyed at 101 Bottles in Kent, Ohio from a pilsener glass.
A: Pours a deep bright yellow color, topped off by a towering, foamy white head. Good lacing left behind.
S: Grassy hops are most prevalent, alongside a biscuity sweetness and light yeast flavors.
T: Very flavorful, with intense grassy and earthy flavors making up most of the flavor. A light metallic note shows up, but doesn't really detract from the rest of the taste.
M: Very creamy and smooth, with a lingering dry finish that helps the beer's flavor hang around for a while.
O: A solid beer, and one well worth trying if you see it (unless it's surrounded by a variety of other Fat Heads beers, then there would be some decisions to be made).

I've had this on-tap a couple times over the years, so it's nice to seem them throw this one in a bottle. 12oz bottle poured into a flute. Pours a transparent light golden, huge fluffy white head and leaves nice lacing. Looks great. The aromas are full of sweet malts, breads, crackers. There's a subtle touch of fruity hops in the aroma. This truly is a hoppy pilsener. This one will slap you in the face with its spiciness. More hop bitterness than hop flavors. Lots of black pepper in the mix. Earthy and robust. Extremely crisp and refreshing. Mouthfeel is crisp and has active carbonation. It's smooth and is very quaffable. Well crafted. So good.
This might be my new go-to pilsener now that it's bottled. This one can give Prima Pils a run for its money. Bravo.

Bottle > Pint Glass
A - Crystal clear yellow, half a finger head, nice lacing.
S - Smells like a pilsner does, definitely get the german yeast, a little spice, and some of those noble hops.
T - Grassy, and bitter elements from the noble hops, but crisp and refreshing.
M - Clean, but the acrid bitterness can be a bit much as it lasts too long.
O - Decent pilsner, with an extra addition of noble hops, makes for a sessionable german pils.

A big, fluffy white head stands for a long time on top of a medium yellow-golden, mildly hazed beer. Impressive retention leads to a ring of lacing at the top of the glass and a mix of patching and spotting below.
It seems like a fairly traditional pils, a bit on the hoppier side but stifled somewhat in the aroma. Maybe it's stronger out of the bottle, but I don't get much strength. A it comes out as it warms, but not as much as I'd like.
The flavor opens it up more. It is hoppy, but it starts off less so and hops bitterness grows with every sip. Grassy and herbal with a balancing biscuit flavor from the malts come along with an added dryness and additional lemon and more herb pulls through.
Crisp and bright in a body that's medium leaning lighter, carbonation is appropriate. It lends a bit of smoothness that comes alongside the crisp bite.

Truly gold in color with a beautiful-looking dimpled head. It sits about an inch thick and doesn't budge.
Dry tinny cracker malts, light lemoniness, and citrus hop delight. Hint of tart tropical fruits.
Woah! Super crisp with a lovely lemony twist. Staunchly bitter with rigorous leaf hop presence. Slightly minty in its bitterness. Never steers into acridity. Clean dry finish with some lingering lemon zest, pith, and near-metallic bitterness.
Great sudsy feel. Big mouthful of bubbles. Body is appropriately on the light side. So quenching. Near perfect Keller Pils.

Got a pint at my local Beer Nutz for 5 bucks.
A - Pours a very bright clear yellow with tons of carbonation and a 1/2 inch of frothy white head. Nice.
S - Bittering abrasive hops mix with pilsner malts and yeasts.
T - At first it was very bittering with only a slight twang of biscuit malt to balance the finish but halfway through I really started to dig this dry hopped pilsner. Good and hoppy indeed.
M - Light bodied and sharp with carbonation and mildly bittering hops.
Overall worth a go if you like a light beer with a ton of great hop flavor.

A bright pilsener filled at the brewpub last Thursday (1-Sep).
A: The pils, as I mentioned, is bright. It's golden straw color can't take away from the radiant intensity. A thick white head, over two fingers on multiple pours. Lacing ensued.
S: The aromas, biscuity light but pungently hoppy, are a refreshing blast. The pale biscuity aromas are bready. The earthen hops are herbal with a crisp finish. Both malt and hop are focused but balanced.
T: The pils is still well carbonated, a day after opening. The hoppiness strikes first, sharp with flowers and herbs. The breadiness is biscuity, ever so sweet, and remarkably pale. The individual ingredient sizzle together, sweet but bitter and biscuity and dry. Nondescript hoppiness drives the finish, plenty of bitterness for the end of the sip.
M: The mouthfeel comes the way I like it, pleasantly hoppy. A good selection for a growler, accessible and light enough for a cool late summer day.

Passable pils on tap at the brewpub in Cleveland. The taste is OK it is hoppy at 40 ibu. Light mouthfeel, OK drinkability on a hot day. Served at appropriate temperature and carbonation. Kind of unbalanced for the style.More of a weak pale ale, andneeds tweaking or dropping.

Pours a clean pale yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, quite lager like with some pine like hops. In the taste, a small pine hop flavor and a dry malty backing. A small hop bite and a medium to lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a dry pine hop in the aftertaste. A nice hop presence, felt more like a bock than a pils.

Gundenhoppy pils has a bright yellow-gold body and a creamy white head. Pretty good lacing and retention.
The aroma has a lot of earthy and grassy scents to it, with grain notes in the background.
I think it is fair to say that “Gundenhoppy” lives up to its name, as this is a packed with hop flavor. Earthy and grassy hops rule the flavor, bringing with them a fairly strong bitterness. A slight, almost metallic hint and some fruity flavors come from the hops also. The backbone is clean pils malt, with bits of grain and cracker. Definitely skewed toward the hops.
Noticeably bitter on the tongue, highly carbonated and well-done.
For loves of hoppy pilsners, this one is a must-try. I would like a little bit more balance, but I still really liked this one.

Appearance - Slight head and a golden color.
Smell - nice nose with hops and malts.
Taste - very good taste this is why we drink beer. Slightly sweet and slightly hoppy nothing overbearing.
Mouthfeel - perfect blend of the usual ingredients matched in a great way.
Overall - This is the beer for the first day of summer I may have to go back and get a growler.

A: Pours a hazy yet bright yellowish golden color with a thick one finger foam head and some spotty lacing.
S: Average scent on the nose. There are some undertones of noble hops, mostly grassy and citrys scents. There is a mild undertone off white bread as well.
T: Starts off with a really nice crisp grassy and earthy hops taste. Very clean tasting. In the middle the slightly buttered saltine cracker taste comes through. Finishes with a slight citrus taste along with the buttered saltines,
M: Very light crisp and refreshing. A nice lighted bodied beer with excellent carbonation.
O: This is a great beer for a summer day. Ample amount of hops, but not overpowering that are balanced by the saltine cracker taste. This beer is crisp clean and quite refreshing.
