A diamond in the rough, totally unexpected. Quality of selection is great, had beers that lots of places dont have. Found Lost Abbey's Red Poppy and Angels Share - Bourbon, as well as seasonal highlights like Port Brewing High Tide and Drake's Aroma Coma(not as rare but unique for a small liquor store).
Very impressed, pricing was very reasonable. all beers in coolers and fresh. Apparentley the owner Kevin does the beer buying, he wasn't there but good job Kevin, you're probably on BA.
Will def be back

I visited this place before a tasting last weekend since I was in the area. A small neighborhood liquor store vibe with some shelves and displays of beer along with beers in coolers. A great selection of hard to find beers (and beers I have never seen anywhere else ever) and everything seemed to be top quality in terms of dates and whatnot. I was able to talk to the owner and we had a good discussion about his place and beer in general. Prices are reasonable, especially for some of the hard to find stuff. Stop by and check it out if you are in the area for sure.

I know, I know. It looks small on the outside. But just go inside and your impression my change. It is setup like your typical liquor store. Most of the beer is chilled (and within the sell-by date of the ones I checked), a few other beers are displayed on the sales floor. Brnads like Bootlegger's, Mikkeller, Weltenberger, Firestone, Ballast Point, Chimay, and even some Alpine bombers (but at $9.99 each, I'll pass). Otherwise, the prices were on the reasonable side.
While it is a good spot to grab some beer, I wasn't totally wowed by the selection, and it certainly doesn't hold a candle to Select Beer Store or Total Wine among Redondo Beach stores.

Diamond in the rough! Great place to get old, vintage bottles not available elsewhere.(saw sink the bizmark in his private case!)
Good selection otherwise: lots of 750's/22's and a few 6'rs and singles.
Owner Kevin is there on the weekends and extremely knowledgeable. Try to go then, as the weekday guy doesnt know much. Excellent location right on PCH just north of the Riviera. Can walk there from my house = dangerous.
Go there and you'll definitely find something you like, and probably 1 more for your cellar.

The selection is decent. You can consistently find products from the more prominent craft brewers here on the West Coast.
They also do a great job at securing some of the harder to find beers. It seems like the owner has a great relationship with his reps and that benefits everyone that's interested in getting some rare brews.
Outside of beer, you can get some wild stuff here. Like tequila with scorpions in it. I think I saw a bottle of Sam Adams Utopias sitting up there as well.
Overall, it's awesome to see a smaller store getting in on the craft beer scene. It fits the craft beer mentality better than a BevMo.

A friend had recently linked me to the store's facebook page, and lone behold no more then 2 days in, I see a post from them saying they had 4 of the 6 varieties of fifty fifty eclipse in. Soon as I read that, I hopped in my car and took a drive down PCH. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by one of the owners, Kevin. A real cool guy who genuinely cares about his customers, and striving to excel as a premiere bottle shop. I would say 8 months in, he is doing pretty damn good. Had a lot of midnight sun, old rasputin xiv, firestone xv, and fifty fifty. Just that alone had me pegging this store as a definite repeat stop n shop spot. If you live close, utilize it and get some great beers, and if you don't live close, make it a stop on a weekend for sure.

I actually found this place via Beer Advocate. After talking to some people on here I decided to head on down to Redondo Beach. This is a realitively a small shop, with some great finds. I was able to get a Citra, Victory at Sea, and Abyss here. Got a few other bottles as well, and didn't break the bank. Cameron helped us with everything, and even called the owner to try and pry some of his Black Tuesday from his private stock. No Go, but I was very pleased with everything I got. I was able to chat with Kevin over the phone, he was very nice, and knew his beers! I will be back often and so should you.

This is truly a great store located in the Redondo Beach area. Not only is the staff really knowledgeable and friendly, the selection is outstanding. You will be hardpressed to find a small store in the area with a better selection. I found a lot of great local beers as well as some more difficult to find beers. I chatted it up with the owner for a while, who is a really nice guy with a true passion for craft beer. I'll definitely be back often. This store is a must-stop for beer lovers in the area.

Stopped by this place after seeing it on BA, never would have given it a second thought otherwise. Small, unassuming place in PCH, who wouldve thought they're a decent spot for craft beer?
First, everything is in coolers. Not a huge selection, probably five or six coolers dedicated to beer, but pretty good selection. Most of your usual west coast breweries with some Belgian and German offerings. They have some vintage Double Bastard dating back to '07. They still had some Stone 13th anni as well.
Pricing is a touch high, Bevmo and a bit higher. Unfortunately for all other establishments, I now see prices through Total Wine tinted glasses, so everyone else looks expensive.
All in all, not a bad option.

Within walking distance of our hotel (1 mile), this was perfect! It is labeled from the side with a LIQUOR sign that constantly flickers on and off. Only from the front do you see Adam's Fine Wines.
From the get-go, this place was easy to navigate around but had that "I'm really going to find beer in here sort of feel to it... I did enjoy a nice collection of magazines in the back though! :) Keep some of your friends busy while you enjoy looking at great beer.
All beer was kept in coolers and almost all had a B.O.D. or Freshness Date and all labeled with pricing. This was awesome!
If you come to this place, ask for Kevin! He spent over an hour talking about the beers from San Diego and California we should try/get our hands on. This was WAY out of the ordinary for me! He also said he could ship in Russian River whenever it comes in stock.
The Selection included DogFish Head, Victory, Lost Coasting Brewing, Iron Fist, AleSmith, Green Flash, Stone, Sierra Nevada, The Bruery, and many more! Good but only had 2-3 of each Brewery. Wish they had more room to put beer in this Liquor Store because I have a feeling it would be even better!
I spent less than $20 on three rare (to me) brews and I have a feeling the next time I check this place out this week, its not going to be the same! Good pricing though. Recommend this place if your in the area.
