A grocery store with a quality selection of beer. It’s not a large selection but the micros are good and they have a wide range of imports. They have an amazing deli and meat selection too. The prices are fair considering this might be the only place in Sacramento to find these beers.

Atmosphere - Well the place is a grocery store that leans towards imports and ethnic foods. The beer section is along the left wall in coolers.
Quality/Selection - They have a lot of interesting harder to find imports here along with a good selection of us crafts. I liked that they sell a lot of their beers as singles which takes some of the risk out of trying new beer.
Service - Its a grocery store so your on your own for the most part other than the deli and cashiers who were pretty friendly.
Overall this is a good place to get some obscure beers and good cheese and meats to go with them.

I figured I would do my due diligence and inform fellow BA Sacramento viewers about this place. As I am writing this review i am sipping on a Rocheforte 10 purchased from the quaint little grocery store.
Having recently graduated from Sacramento State, I can't believe how many times I've passed by this place and let it slip me by. I only considered it once reading the limited reviews here on BA. I was fairly impressed with the beer selection but of course no store ever has everything you're looking for. They let you create your own six-pack which I thought was unique and cool. (If this is common, call me a newbie). I've been unable to find many beers listed on this website in Sacramento and was able to find a wealth of them here.
The service was friendly and, despite my 12 year old face, I was treated with respect. Which believe it or not, is a welcome change.
Apparently, because this is a grocery store, they sell some quality meats and cheeses, but I was not interested as I had a beautiful T-Bone steak and a vegetable medley awaiting my arrival at home. I would make the assumption that, based on the beer, the food is half-way decent but don't take my word for it.
Overall, if you're in Sacramento and tired of BevMo, give this place a try and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised.

One of the oldest grocery stores in the Sacramento area. Has been in the same location for decades. This is the place to go when looking for import foods, import beers, and hard to find, unique items. If you find yourself in Sacramento and craving a unique shopping experience, Corti Brothers is the way to go. Whether youre looking for hard to find and obscure European cheese, Australian lamb chops, Tanzanian wines, Dutch candy, or out of the ordinary groceries, go nowhere else. The store is older and has a rustic feel to it, almost like stepping back 20-30 years in time. It is a cozy, friendly atmosphere, and a great place to shop. Keep your money locally in the community and avoid those bigger retail chains.

Corti is my neighborhood beer place. They've got a very nice selection, including Russian River and other fine craft brews, as well as world classics from Belgium, Germany, UK, and elsewhere. Pliny the Elder is consistently in stock, as well as other greats including Rocheforte 10, Weinstephaner lager, and Fuller's solid lineup. I wish they would get more Russian River wilds, but they have had Damnation at times. It's a nice place to explore beer styles from around the world. While you're there, you can pick up a bottle of wine or liquor. Oh, and it's a grocery store, so consider cheese, meat, bread, and other snacks.
