Cool Silverlake style vibe. Wood bar, awesome old school leather sectionals to lounge in, and other various hip rock n roll furniture.
24 taps, some always on, about half rotating. Solid standard beer bar selection in the always on, some local/seasonal on the rotating.
Had the wild west burger, pretty solid burger. A little better than expected.
Bartender busy, but attentive. Appropriate glassware for said beers. All in all a solid place. I don't find myself in silverlake often, but if I do in the future, I'll be back.
Side note: pints are extra large so you get a little mo re bang for the buck. Appreciated.

I've been in LA for 3 years now and this is one of the best bars I have found. Great selection of craft beers (all on draft) plus pizzas, burgers, and assorted other food. Apparently they rotate beers but while I was there they had the following (I asked the bartender if I could take a menu home):
Guinness, Old Speckled Hen, St. Bernardus ABT 12, North Coast Scrimshaw, Eagle Rock Populist IPA, Delirium Tremens, Franziskaner, Chimay White, Weihenstephan, Paulaner Lager, Green Flash IPA, Dale's Pale Ale, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Nautical Nut Brown Ale, Wells Banana Bread, Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale, Triple Karmeliet, Allagash White, Victory Prima Pils, Green Flash Hop Head Red, Stone Ruination, Sam Adams Lager, Ommegang Witte, Allagash Curieux. I'm not a big fan of IPAs or Pilsners, but they seem to have something for everyone. Allagash Curieux is one of my favorite beers ever so I was thrilled to see them have this on draft. They do a normal happy hour and a late night happy hour with every beer at a discounted price (usually around $4-5) so if you love great beer and live in LA, you HAVE to come here.

Barbarella is not a bad place to end up but not the kind of place you plan to go to. We ended up there for dinner and a drink while in Silverlake.
I was excited when my friend told me they had a great beer list. Lot's of selection but nothing too exciting. They split the menu up into funny sections like 'yeasty'.
Food is mediocre, service sucked and valet parkers were dickheads. They took my car and then lost the keys. Took about 40 minutes to recover. Very frustrating and made a decent experience into an annoying one.

This is a great place to duck in for happy hour, or pretty much any time. They have roughly 24 taps, 10 rotating, featuring greats such as Chimay, St. Bernardus Abt 12, and Old Rasputin. They even have a few locals such as beers from Eagle Rock Brewery.
Overall the place is quite trendy, name inspired atmosphere. Most beers run 6-8 bucks, and $4-5 for happy hour (Can you really beat a St. Bernardus for $5?).
That staff is super friendly, and it's never too hard to order a drink. One of my favorite bars.
