Pours black with a lasting tan head.
Nose shows coffee, roasted malt and little else. Nice though.
Bittersweet flavours of roasted malt and roasted coffee again. The coffee seems a bit stale though.
Could use a little more carbonation.
Pity about the stale coffee, great otherwise.

Been hanging to try this and pours a dark black hue which leaves a three finger khaki head and heaps of lacing it looks really nice, the smell is a strong milky cappicino with a touch of mocha and not much else it definately reminds me of a beautiful Ice Coffee, the taste is pretty much the same as smell its just like an alcoholic Ice Coffee to me with hints of chocolate, coffee mixed in vanilla ice cream and milk and finished with a light hop bitterness and overall this is a beautiful drop and i could drink this all night and would buy again without any hesitation in my mind and tastebuds a beautiful milk/sweet stout cheers.

The colour is very dark brown, almost black. The firm two finger head is warm pale brown. It leaves some lacing.
The smell got heavy notes of sweet coffee, roasted malt and some caramel. Some figs and dried fruits. Mild clean bitter notes and a hint of chalk.
The taste is smooth and quite sweet. Lots of coffee and some coca. Light clean bitter notes. Some chocolate butterscotch. The body is medium to light. The aftertaste is quite dry with more of those coffee-nut flavours and some minerals. The finish is dry and smooth.
The carbonation is medium strong with small smooth bubbles; the liquid is mid-smooth and a bit dry.
A highly drinkable beer, the alcohol is well hidden and the flavours smooth.

The beer is dark, dark brown or maybe black, a dark tan head which settles slowly and leaves loads of lacing. Rather small curtains.
Much roasted malt; dry dark fruits, cold coffee, burned crust, soy sauce.
Starting with caramelized sugar, burned toast, bitter chocolate and dark coffee beans. Slightly sour dried figs.
High carbonation, small foamy bubbles, a sticky texture, rather big body and a dry finish.
A bit overpowering sour- and bitter-ness for being a milk stout. This was the Høst Stout version.

This is kind of crazy; a beer for breastfeeding mothers with extra calories...
A: The color is pitch black while the tan head is medium lagre and very creamy. Rich lacings.
S: Wow! Heavy roast to the sweet malt. There's a vanilla tone besides the almost smoked scensation - I'm guessing oak-barrel-aged or at least aced. Dark dried fruits. Strong black coffee and dark bitter chocolate.
T: Vanilla and smoke. Dry malt, heavily roasted. Some smoked ham. Strong black coffee, and faint chocolate/cocoa. Otherwise no surprises after the smell...
M: Long smoked oaky/vanilla aftertaste. Body is full and carbonation held to a minimum.
O: This was great! Complex! I'm kind of sad that I'm not a breastfeeding woman...

Dark pour, hug dark black color with a nice tight head of deep cocoa color that hung on the glass and created a sticky mess of brown webbing that lasted the entire session. Tremendous staying power here. Aroma is dominated by coffee. Rich sweet notes are blended in seemlessly with a rich and decadent coffee nose. Nothing too bitter here at all, in fact the warmer it gets the sweeter it tends to become. First sip has waves of coffee and cocoa rushing across the tongue. Smooth, mellow feel to it, not too heavy but full enough to let you get the full gist of the flavor. Each sip brings wave upon wave of rich, finely brewed coffee straight to the forefront, tremendous flavor here as hints of vanilla and rich chocolate swirl in and out. Long drawn out finish of sweet vanilla infused coffee notes is just what the doctor ordered.
Overall fantastic. Cannot believe I had never heard of this one before. To say it was right up my alley is an understatement an a half. If you can find this, please seek it out, a tremendous beer.
