Notes:
Crisp and clean, Horny Toad is a premium craft cerveza with just a hint of Noble hop bitterness to balance the pilsner malt body. Horny Toad is a true Oklahoma original and great introduction to craft beer and COOP Ale Works.

P: Pours a clear pale straw with white bubbly head.
S: Fruity wheat malts, lemon and subtle yeast aroma. Straight forward and clean.
T/M: Tropical fruits, sour lemon candy, sun dried wheat, nice biscuity malt. Pronounced lemon essence and bitterness. Horny Toad finishes dry with a medium body and a zesty carbonation that melds well with the lemon tartness.
O: I'm horny for horny toad! Crisp and clean wheat, biscuity malts and a great lemon presence that brings this blonde ale together nicely. I have been wanting to try this for a long time and just never picked it up. Fortunately for me the tavern that I went to was replacing their entire wall of taps so I had to opt for a bottle or canned brew. Sure glad that was the case now I know how good this is. Cheers!

I brought back two coop beers from Oklahoma, both in cans of coarse. I must say I was cautious of this one but actually found this to be my favorite of the two.
It pours a hazy golden, with a nice white laced head.
The aroma was Bread like with a citric note.
The taste of wheat malts with a slight spicy hop blended well. Hints of lemon and even pepper add to the flavor.
The mouth was smooth with a spicy black pepper note.
Overall a good, well done brew. Enjoyed and thanks Oklahoma .

Poured this brew into a Pilsner glass, and the brew makes a solid two finger thick head of clean white, and the body is golden with a mild haze.
The aroma is a little grainy and corn husk like, lemony Noble hops shine through, giving this brew a refreshing fragrance.
Taste wise there is a mile caramel malty sweetness to the brew, along with lemon drop sourness and mild metallic qualities.
Feels light in body, and refreshing. Nice carbonation and leaves the palate refreshed.

The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is has some nice biscuit malt notes, as well as some grass and a hint of citrus from the hops. The flavor has a lot of the same notes. The grain and biscuit malt notes add some sweetness to the beer. There is a little bit of pepper and some grass and earth notes. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Two ounces poured into a pint glass so I could get a look at it. The rest drank from the can. Sent to me by ThirstyHerf as an extra.
A: Pours a boring light yellow with a decent white head.
S: Mildly fruity grain. Floral, coarse milled cereal.
T: Soft grain and mild vegetal taste. Slightly sweet, like honeysuckle. A bit of dry leafy bitterness from the hops. Crisp, coarse grain in the finish.
M: Soft-bodied, good carbonation, creamy.
O: Nothing to write home about, but certainly better than the alternative.

Poured from pint can to brandy snifter, big thanks to 4balance for this one!
Pours a middle gold without much of a pulse... Fat two fingers of white head, a bit of lacing.
The nose showcases some corn, wet hay, leafy hops, faint pale malts, pretty damn clean. Smells like a nice BBQ beer.
The taste exposes a lot of the same things... mild grains, soft corn, a bit of hops near the end. If this was my local brew it would quickly become a staple summertime beer at my house.
American blonde? Not really... But still a quality hot weather beer from a brewery that I wish had a spot in MN.

The can says it's a pilsner but tasted too creamy and sweet to be a true pilsner. A little bready on the pallet and a very subtle floral hop note to balance the beer. Overall a nice everyday drinking beer from Coop Ale Works. Similar to Southern Star Bombshell Blonde or Ska True Blonde Ale.

The appearance was very nice, bubbling dark golden color and bonde head. A little too much floral odor for me,had to take another look at the can, thought this might be an IPA. Taste was a litte too much hops and bitterness, but no after taste, and does become more balance at the end. Nicely finishes like a good cerveza..quinches your thirt, no need for a drink of water afterwards...
