Visited the Riverview on 8/2/09. Located in Brattleboro, VT, it's just on the VT/NH line. The restaurant is located right on the edge of the Connecticut River with a great view and a spacious 3rd floor deck with a dedicated bar (there's also a bar on the 1st floor). Each bar sports 14 taps: Wolaver's IPA, Otter Creek Copper, Lager, Summer, RIS, Ommegang Hennepin, Switchback, Kona Fire Rock & Stone Smoked Porter. Only macros on tap were Bud, Budlight, Shock Top and Landshark Lager. 10oz. pours were $3.29, 16oz. were $4.29 and 23oz. were $4.99 - very reasonable indeed. The Otter Creek RIS was $4.79 for an 8oz. pour. Bottle selection was mostly macros, but you could also get a Guinness or a Sam Smith Nut Brown Ale. Food prices were reasonable and quite tasty. Much of the fare is from local farmers and growers. Service was very good, and has been with previous visits (this was my 3rd time). Definitely worth checking out as it has a decent tap selection, but a nice menu as well, making for a good place to grab a few pints or take a date.
