This poured out as a hazy yellow color with no head on top. There is a light amount of lacing though. The smell of the beer has some definite honey on the nose. The flavor is sweet, mostly honey and grains, no bitterness in there really. The mouthfeel is light bodied, very smooth, light carbonation too. Overall it's a sessionable beer, not one that really impressed me but it was decent.

First had: on tap at Capone's, Norristown, PA

Poured a clear, golden yellow with a thin layer of bubbly white head that quickly receded to a ringlet. Aroma is pretty distant, toasted grains, floral, vegetal hop presence. Underwhelming on the palate as well, grainy, cardboard, floral and herbal hops with a moderate bitterness, and a dollop of honey in the finish that was nice but seemed almost misplaced considering the other factors of the beer overall. Mouthfeel is on the thin side, light-medium body, pretty crisp, with lower carbonation, aftertaste is dry and somewhat metallic. In a world of great APAs, this one just failed to impress.

On-tap at The Gem and Keystone, Shawnee On Delaware, PA

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin, white head that gradually died down and left a patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: There are light to moderately strong aromas of floral hops and honey in the nose along with some notes of pale malts.
T: Like the smell, the taste has floral flavors from the hops, which impart a slight amount of bitterness. There are some hints of honey towards the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a slight amount of dryness in the finish.
O: This beer makes a pale ale a lot more interesting due to the addition of honey, but the honey aromas and flavors are subtle so as not to detract from the drinkability.
