Got word of this place from a coworker that also happens to work at another liquor store in Hoboken.
Very, very happy to have found this place. Judging by the previous reviews I would like to assume that the selection has vastly improved since those reviews.
Founders Breakfast stout, Troeg's Nugget Nectar, Peche Mortel, Great Divide Titan, Yeti and Hercules, several Allagash offerings, several Belgian offerings that I can't spell or pronounce... I found plenty of beers there that I've never seen or tried before.
I have not much experience with this place, so not much so with the service of the place. Five or so trips there and I've been offered no assistance nor word; a couple times there was an obvious new employee in training.
Prices are pretty good. I know where I can find many of the same things for the same price or less, but again, I've found things here that I've not seen anywhere else (Founders!).

This review is from post-Super Storm Sandy rebuilding - I had visited and shopped here before the storm but had not gotten around to writing a review but will now write one since the store has reopened and I shopped there again.
Stuff seems fairly fresh and the store seems to move a fair amount of product.
The "store" is located as a side room in the back corner of the ShopRite grocery store. It has all of the look and feel of a grocery store.
The people working there do not seem to have any special knowledge of craft beer (or wine/spirits) as far as I can tell but that is OK with me since I have a decent amount of knowledge and access to BA on my phone. They were quick to ring you up when you were ready to check out and kept open an appropriate number of registers.
I think the selection is better than before the storm - there seems to be a larger number of chilled 6 packs than there were previously, about the same amount of bombers, and an added section of single smaller bottles/cans. Lots of expected craft beer from local and regional breweries but not a bad selection at all and much better than any of the other grocery stores that have a beer section.
I am not going to review any kind of food since it is a grocery store which is slightly separate.
Prices are relatively cheap - better than a few of the other places in town.

Located in the back of ShopRite Hoboken. Above average selection for the area that is for sure. Fairly big selection both warm and cold, not nothing you can't find your typical NJ craft beer location. Good prices, better than most. The only major problem I have is that the manager is the biggest @$$ I have ever encountered while shopping for beer. Gave me a hard time for using credit instead of debit on a $15 pruchase and gave my friend crap for getting a 30 pack from the cold chest when it said "30 Packs in Cooler," apparently he went too far... Those were 2 separate incident too by the way. If you don't like your job get a new one please.

Like most of your shop rite liquor stores the focus here is mainly on spirits and wine, but they do tend to offer a more then adequate selection of beer for the area. Most of the more common crafts are available here, DFH, Stone, Lag, etc. Some 750's popping around of Duval, unibroue, a few allagash but nothing terribly cray. Prices seemed decent for the area. Not a real destination per se but if you are in the area, you could mos certainly do worse. Its a rough place to find good beer, take a trip down the highway a bit more and your luck would geatly improve,

the one things that is a pain in the neck about this place is you have to walk through shoprite to get to the liquor shop, they don't have their own entrance.the quality and selection is pretty good. they get a lot of seasonal jersey brews(river horse ,flying fish, climax) and a good amount of sixers and four packs(stone ,dead guy, harpoon) cold beer in a frig and on the floor displays with cases, even a small wood wine rack with 750 ml bottle, and other bottle selections on a metal wire rack near bye (arogant bastard, levitation)this places main focus is wine although i would give it a B- for beer, it's not to bad.
